Looks like they're about mid May now! :)

I know we'll still have to wait about 2 or 3 more weeks before they start on June, but still!

Is it just me or is May going by very quickly?

Don't worry about it!

Nothing that is going on with economy, politics or anything else matters for this process. Brazil is one of the easiest consulates and the process is even quicker here because of all the online fees and no packets to receive/send. The only thing you should be attentive of is the Olympics. During august and part of september, the consulate will have relatively less availability for interview/issuing of visas. That has been warned on their website and facebook, but looking on your timeline, your process will probably not be here by that time anyway, so you should have no problem :) good luck

people with NOA 1 date of around May 18th are getting their NOA 2, so they are around mid May right now, i filed at the end of May, but NOA1 date is first of June, but they are definitely working on mid May at the moment.

They dont work like that, for example there is people still waiting for their noa 2 who has noa1 date like may 5th.

I wish it worked like that :(

i understand, my point was people who filed in those dates are already receiving NOA 2, i understand different situations might prolong the process, but peeps with those filing dates are receiving approvals.
