No problem! Have you got someone home to get mail at a US address? As far as I know USCIS won't send mail to a non-US address, so I hope you do!

Not true!

Both my fiance and I are living in France. I sent my k1 petition from France on June 22. Email confirmation was received on June 30 (official received date is June 27), and hard copy of NOA1 was received at our French address on July 8.

I'm so nervous about my other half and the happenings in Brazil. I really hope it doesn't impact the process negatively. All I can do is watch from afar...missing him so <3. We are estimated for Sept 19th but the days keep inching up so I am hopeful. I hope everyone is doing well waiting :)

Don't worry about it!

Nothing that is going on with economy, politics or anything else matters for this process. Brazil is one of the easiest consulates and the process is even quicker here because of all the online fees and no packets to receive/send. The only thing you should be attentive of is the Olympics. During august and part of september, the consulate will have relatively less availability for interview/issuing of visas. That has been warned on their website and facebook, but looking on your timeline, your process will probably not be here by that time anyway, so you should have no problem :) good luck
