Wedding is Sunday, looking back, what seemed an unending journey of waiting now appears as a flash .. I am happier than I have ever been in my life and our life together grows daily. I pray that all of you are finding solace in your relationships and are happy with how your life has changed. I would never undo what for me just happened. Thank you to all who have helped us in our journey, Merry Christmas if it applies, happy Holidays if it does not. Peace, Love and happiness are my wishes for all

Congrats on your wedding.

Yes, the journey of waiting seemed to take forever, but was much shorter than we were expecting when we started. I can't believe Apple and I have already been married 6 weeks. Now we are waiting again, for Adjustment of status, but we are together, so it is much easier.

Merry Christmas.

Hey guys! So I am in America now. But I have a silly question. How do we register for marriage? I don't see enough information on VJ. Just find the step by step which shows we need to apply a SSN, then get married. I am so confused, anyone pls tell me what should I do next. Thank you very much in advance.

As above.

We went to the county clerks office (we're in Colorado) and got our marriage license there for $30. We're self officiating so all we have to do is sign it and take it back for it to be recorded and then we're married. You can also get certified copies of your marriage certificate from the county clerks office which you will need when you file for AOS.

Hi guys.

I need some help. My fiancée submitted our application for k1. We still haven't had our nao2 and the service centre have had our reply to our rfe 90 days we call every week and get no joy. We request to talk to level 2. Who when they call are rude to my fiancée and then hang up without telling her anything. What do we do we're are now told to wait until the end of January to find out further news. When we don't have any now. This takes our application to 7 months at the end of January. Who can we contact is there a level 3. I was hoping for good news but yet again customer service is missing the word service. Please any help will be appreciated.

Thank you in advance

Tajj

I would contact my congressman, your wait and lack of services seems excessive, there is no place for rudeness in their responses

You need to get a marriage license by going to the local town office (city or county with jurisdiction over your location). Once you do that, you will be able to find someone who's ordained to preside over your wedding. The town should have a list as well and suggestions.

Good luck!

Thank you very much. We will try it!

Long time no see, my friends!
Applying for the AOS now, Married last friday 13th, reading through the docs i need I noticed that the form I-693 needs to be filled by a Civil Surgeon. So, does this basically means that I'll have to pay someone to fill the form even though my last medical examination is still valid??

Thank you! It was the happiest day of our lives!

I just read about it and it looks like you don't need the I 693 If you file for AOS withing 1 year of your medical exam for the K1 as long as you have all the vaccinations. Can someone clarify if I'm correct please? :)
