I got to the USA on 16th Nov and POE was in Philadelphia . Took almost 1 hour but the officers didnt ask for 2x2 " pics and my photocopy of birth certificate as i have heard from the other reviews we need it at the poe. is it normal? how you guys did , plz tell me what happened at ur poe. i m kinda little worried too. may be the officer was new or something coz he asked me if i have another form with my pic on it (showing me one form of immigrant visa holder's form who was before me in the line) and said there is not that form in my packet. i said i have never seen that kinda form and i dont have it. and he again looked at my passport and photocopy of my and my son's passport and stamped it, typed something in his computer and written my expiry date of k1 visa and k2 visa , showed me the status of our visa and said "WELCOME".

i was very happy but i was expecting he would ask for my birth certificate and 2x2" pic which he didnt. i didnt want him to feel like am trying to teach him how to do his work correctly but i wanted to make sure i wouldnt miss any paperwork at poe so i asked him "dont you need my birth certificate and my pics" then said it is already in the packet. i was so confused. but i couldnt say anything and leave the poe and took my connecting flight

Sorry for not reporting before, I got some excellent news! I just got into the US 2 days ago, the POE was Los Angeles and was super smooth. Like I said, just stay calm(I know it's hard but that's the secret) and everything will be fine.

Got so many things to plan now it's hard to keep comming back here to report. I hope everything goes as good as it was for me here, GOOD LUCK!

Hi guys, in a couple days i will enter the US through Houston airport.

I ve never had a copy of my medical and vaccination record, it must be on the sealed envelop. The embassy told me to ask the officer at POE for a copy of medical form.

Did u have to ask for the same ?

Congratulations! So how long after your interview did you received your visa via DHL? We are really worried about the holidays delaying things.

Sorry for not reporting before, I got some excellent news! I just got into the US 2 days ago, the POE was Los Angeles and was super smooth. Like I said, just stay calm(I know it's hard but that's the secret) and everything will be fine.

Got so many things to plan now it's hard to keep comming back here to report. I hope everything goes as good as it was for me here, GOOD LUCK!

So I've had a little bit of problem with the holiday that was on nov 15th I should have recieved the passport pack on that day. It got a little delayed. Idk how is it going to be on Christmas and New Year's probably a little bit more trouble I'm afraid or i might be wrong and it will be fine, brazilian post office is not known for it's efficiency

A word of advice though, when you get the passport pack try to book the flight asap because of the price rises at the end of the year. I had to fly on the very next day for example. It is a bit harsh but whatever takes to be together <3

So your interview was 8/11 and you were supposed to get your visa back on 15/11? And you mentioned Brazilian post office. I thought they sent it via DHL now. Is that not correct?

Approved! They said it would be up to two weeks before the visas arrive. Don't like that part, but man, I'm so happy.

I forgot to check in, but I entered the US through the Maine-New Brunswick land route without a hitch on November 16th. Just had our wedding on the 21st. Now to adjust status!

The only thing I'm confused about is my paper I-94 entry thing. When I've flown its all electronic and I've never gotten a paper in my passport. This time I did. The border officers said I had to mail it back somewhere before February?

So stressed/depressed sent in papers and ap date was updated on Nov 18th...want to get visa so bad. Missing each other like crazy. Family and friends are hounding us when our wedding is. A freaking signature is all they needed they got it why are they sitting on it?

Good Day! Just want to know what happened to all the June filers of I 129K . Mine was received June 27 at USCIS office in California. Approved I 129k Aug 26, 2016. To make the story short my fiancee already had his interview last Nov.23,2016, everything went well except that i dont have my cenomar, i taught that since im a naturalized US Citizen i dont need one. But after the interview my fiancee fill up a form given at the releasing to get my cenomar at Pasay NSO US embassy will be the one to pick it up. How long i dont know. Just be patient i guess. Any updates from any of you?

So disappointed. The US Consulate in Rio sent the passports/visa packets out today via Brazilian postal service. It was supposed to be sent via DHL. Its just so hard when my fiance is living in an empty apartment sleeping on a mat on the floor and she has to move out Wednesday. They showed the visas would ship via DHL this whole time on the us-visainfo.com page. But now it shows a Brazilian postal service tracking number. Sigh.
