Are you sure :-)

My interview was only yesterday and they told me it would take 10 days. I've got a very popular family name and given name, so thought the FBI checks or whatever they do would take longer then a day.

I'd be so happy if it was issued soon.

It'll bounce between ready & AP a few times but London rarely takes more than a few days to issue the visa (MENA origin is the exception)

Getting the package from DX takes another few days when it goes to issued so it could be 10 days in total before you have it in your hands :)

Everything crossed for a smooth and stress free journey

Hi everyone! Had my interview today in Manila and we got approved. Everything went smooth sailing and now its just time to wait for my passport to come back to me. Goodluck to the others who are yet to have their interview. No need to worry about anything if you have nothing to hide and have all the required documents. Thank you to everyone, this thread has been so helpful :)

Visa was set to Advanced Processing last night - looked just now and it's set to issued. Seems to be a quick turnaround in London!

Good morning JVers, question?

When the site says "issued" does that mean they have sent your passport? Our embassy uses DHL, so if it says issued that means they sent it DHL and than will take few days to reach the destination? Thanks for your help.

My status reads it should be with me within 10 days. I think I'll get it by Monday. I live 5 mins walk from the embassy I wonder if they will let me come walk over and pick it up. hahah probably not.

Kara I think they send an email with your DHL tracking number when the visa has left the embassy.

Perfectly normal! I was terrified before the interview!

It's really not as scary as first thought and the questions they ask are very straightforward and they're not trying to trick you :)

You'll be fine!

Thank you!! Time is running, less then 24hr to the interview ?????????????☺️☺️

Just make sure all of your documents are correct and in order and you have absolutely nothing to worry about!

The interview seems less about the actual questions they ask you, and more making sure you have the correct documentation :)
