Is so frustrating waiting for my passport and visa. Visa was approved on the 21 of last month. I have heard nothing from the consulate. The status has been "Issued" since on the 23. I'm so confused. on the day of the interview I was told, your visa will be ready in 10 working days, enjoy your stay in the united states. I don't just know what to do.

I am confussed with the time zone, my interview is on Oct 21st ☺️ 7am (same time zone than Texas)

The embassy just replied to my email of Friday last week asking them about the status of my visa. In their reply, it says my visa has been ready since September 27 for pick up. But the surprising thing is that I wasn't notified that the visa was ready, the case status still remain as "issued" since September 23. I can't even track my passport status online. Maybe there website have a problem. I'm happy though... Does anyone have a similar experience...

The visa is approved !! I mean it seems to be ahaha what happenned was a bit weird at the end...

So i had appointment at 2pm, i shown up early just in case but they only open the gate at 2pm. Went through security and then i got escorted to a private booth immediately where a nice lady collected paperwork, took my fingerprints asked about my fiance phone number, intended arrivale date in the us and marriage, then told me that the visa will be mailed beginning of next week. I asked if that means the visa was approved and no, i still had to get interviewed by the consul ;)

So i waited for about one hour and a gentleman asked me a few questions, took left hand fingerprints only and got me approved !!

Then here is the weird thing

I left the embassy and called me in my mobile asking if the consul took my fingerprints, i confirmed he did took 4 left fingers only and they asked me to come back right away if possible as it seems it didnt recorded...

I got in again, security and all stuff and they took my fullfingerprints again. At that moment the gentleman was a bit thoughtful, i started to worry and he told me there was nothing wrong with me just system issue. When i put my fingers i did notice that it was like one finger didnt"validated", i ask him if i was fine and he told me that i "should" be ok ... i dont really like this "should be". He told me that this will not jeopardize my visa but i cant stop thinking about potential issues ;( did you guys heard about anything similar before ? Thanks for your help

01/07/2020.......I-751 transferred from Texas Service Center to Lee's Summit.

01/31/2020.......Biometrics Appointment.

03/06/2020.......Interview Scheduled 04/16/2020.

06/16/2020.......Interview Rescheduled 07/08/2020

07/08/2020.......Approved

08/20/2020.......Oath Ceremony
