My fiancé sent his packet 3 back to the embassy, and will be there Friday, and embassy will set the interview about 2 weeks later. His medical is set for October 7th. Things are moving fast now!!!

My question is: when looking at your case status online what will it change to after "ready"

congrats !!!

gosh ! NVC has sent our file 9/16 and still no news from embassy, so frustrating :(

I had the pleasure of doing the medical in Dublin today 470 dollars but whose counting. I've never been made to feel more uncomfortable in my entire life. Pricked and prodded and judged as defective. I'm over weight so the nurse assistant had a go at that and she said I had high blood pressure only for the doctor to take it again and correct her that infect my blood pressure is fine.

I was arrested in Ireland for being drunk in public over 7 years ago and he was really interested in that. He wrote a whole paragraph on it. No charges and I was never convicted, I'm a non drinker for 4 years for religious reasons no substance abuse problems at all he didn't care about that either.

Then asked me to pull my trousers down so he could hold my balls. Haha this visa thing just keeps getting worse. What will they ask of me next?. Oh just 425 euro and the coldest experience I've ever had in a medical practice.

Seriously can't wait for this Visa business to be over so I never have to think of Visas and embassies again. We are Only staying in the US for 3 years at most for school then we will move back to Ireland and live here. So much hassle.

Jesus, I can't wait for this.. Were you up to date with your vaccinations? I have mine October 19, so there's a bit of a wait. Seems like you're over the worst of it in terms of paperwork and waiting around to hear back from people.

I see ;) well maybe i put a nail on my own feet because i called them to let them know that i will be on a business trip overseas for 2 weeks and will not be able to aknowledge my emails and didnt wanted to miss potential interview appointment, which is when i learnt that packet 3 will be sent by email ... They told me to send an email for the same, which i did, and never received replied. Im scared that i might have slowed down the process myself by telling them that i will be unavailable by mail and for interview until oct 8th ;( i feel so stupid ...

I wouldn't worry about it... they may just send the packet anyways. Also he will get the interview date sent to him. When he filled out packet 3 it asked what email to use to send packet 4. I wouldn't worry too much about it, we had to have that packet 3 email before he could send in all of his information then they send the date. Not sure how your embassy works maybe you don't even need that packet to get the interview date.

Haha I'm sure you will be grand. It just isn't the most professional or caring environment they literally treat you like a number and a piece of meat. I've had better treatment from a bum on the street or some assistant manager in Tesco.

I sent off my notice of readiness today and get an appointment for Monday the 26th of September. There's no chance I can get that day off so mailed them and literally two mins later the phone is rining and it's the embassy asking me why I submitted my notice of Readiness when I'm not ready. I had to tell her that I couldn't take a whole month off work on the off chance they might schedule an appointment, 1 working days notice is way to short. Thanks for the quick interview but I'll have to reschedule. I'm down for the 18th of October.

That's crazy that the medical place is working a month behind now. I know the embassy have November interview dates so I'm sure you will be getting one. I think they interview every Monday and Tuesday at 1pm that's what I was able to work out from the calendar they gave me access to when scheduling my date.

We're nearly there Christmas with my babe will be so sweet this year and I wish it for you too buddy.

Received packet 3 in the mail today :dancing: I'm so excited, I can't sit still

My medical appt is booked for this Monday when I'll send back the signed packet 3 and then they just need to send me my interview date. Can't believe how quickly everything is happening

Yes. I received mine about a week after I received my NVC number. It has both the USCIS# and the NVC# on it. It's just a 1 page document.
