wht do we do next?

Hello All,

we had just gotten our NOA2 and i was wondering if there is anything we have to do at this time? this would be really great help because the NOA2 doesn't tell us wht to do next, it just explains wht they will do next. Thanks for all yall's help.

Well, you could look up what forms you need for your embassy and start filling those out. You could also apply for the police report because some countries it can take a long time to get back (UK takes up to 40 days). You could also start working on your I-134 evidence of support documents. So yeah, there's quite a bit you can do

Now you can start checking NVC and then follow thru to see when the embassy received the application. Start now to gather everything that is required of you, reports, letters, etc. more evidence, it will move along quicker now

You're asking for our help, but can we ask you for yours? Please fill in your timeline either in the timeline link, or in your signature. You know the whole "I scatch your back, you scratch mine" philosophy? Knowing how long it took another fellow VJ-er to go through this part of the process helps those of us who are still waiting. You've just gotten your NOA2 (filing in Texas, transfered to California) but when did you file? What was the date of your NOA1, how long did it take?

Start working on the Affidavit of support and getting all of your financial documents together. you will need to have the Affidavit notarized and you have to get a letter from your employer and stuff. the Affidavitt requires some different stuff so print that out and start gathering yet again and good luck!

CONGRATS TO BOTH OF YOU! MAYBE YOU SHOULD START GATHERING THE PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP <PHOTOS,LETTERS, PHONE BILLS, ETC> POLICE CLEARANCE AND OTHER DOCUMENTS THATS REQUIRED FOR THE CONSULATE IN YOUR COUNTRY.
