AOS Interview canceled

This morning we got a text that our interview of I485 (K1 based) was canceled. This is a week after it was scheduled. Of course when we call USCIS no one can help us or tell us why it's canceled. They only tell us to wait for a new date or other information through the mail. So I suppose we will have to wait.

Does anyone have any experience with this or have heard of them canceling or waiving AOS interviews?

It means the IO took a vacation or something. Wait for your new date.

But yes they do waive interviews sometimes.

If they waiver your interview then you'll just a GC approved letter in the mail followed by your GC they don't make appointment cancel it then waiver it... If it was to be waived then they would sent an approved notice out instead of an interview letter

Yea that sounds reasonable. I couldn't imagine why they would go through the trouble to schedule it just to waive it.
