Hey D....I'm confused...why would there be a 10 year ban if the couple got legally married (after K1 denial) and started the paperwork for CR1 (after legal marriage)?

It's been awhile since I was in the Visa Journey loop, so maybe something has changed?

Sorry just saw this. They were approved than 2 weeks later he was called back in the CO felt they were trying to pull a fast one with the K1 and that they actually were married. But seems weird they were denied. I think there's alot more to this just no one is telling the whole story. All I know is they are denied and case eing returned. So that's K1 denied returned now CR1/OR1. I think t has alot to do with they keep saying they been married 4 years well that's when they filed the K1. Don;t tell me they don;t read our Facebook They foo-barred themselves.

Good to see you girl.

I've searched if there has been any denials in Mexico based on a religious ceremony but I haven't found anything. I'm hoping for the best, I'm waiting for he NOA2 since I got RFE. But I'll keep searching and see if anything come up.

Hi Jessilveir. I noticed you were approved. I hope you are both well and blessed! Question about your case. Did your k1 application have evidence of there having been a religious ceremony? Like in a statement from yiur fiance or pictures?

Hi Jessilveir. I noticed you were approved. I hope you are both well and blessed! Question about your case. Did you still provide evidence of there having been a religious ceremony as advised by the lawyer? Did your fiance provide a written statement of your ceremony?
