H1/B1 filling for change of status

I cam into the US with the H1/B1 VISA and i am married to a US citizen, We are about to file for a change of status/green card but we are having some challenges.

Here are the challenges.

1. Her income in 2015 was low($11,000) because she was in between jobs and she filed her taxes for that amount but this year she makes way more than that.She makes $45,000 a year. Do we need a co sponsor when filling for the green card ?Or do we just get a job letter and check stubs to show she is earning more than that...Please i need urgent answers.Thank you very much.

If she has had this higher paying job for the past six months, that is more than enough for her to be the sole sponsor. Good luck! :)

Hello Cheezees,

What if its less than that? Meaning we have to get a sponsor right?

The reason why i ask this is that,she was on temporary,she was made permanent 3 months ago but she has been on the job since November of 2015

What about your job? If your income will continue from the same job after you get your GC, you can include your income on her I-864.
