Receiving Visa by mail or pick up in Trinidad

Is it faster to get your visa by mail or pick up in Trinidad? How long does it typically take. Site says 2-5 days but I've seen its longer on some timelines

It says 2-5 days for your country any delays i would say would be weather holidays transit? I would find out if you can pick up may save on time Best of luck at your interview ?

Thought somewhere I read it was longer to pick up for some reason

I think at your interview they may have a better answer on pick up or delivery but 5 days isnt bad if its still accurate

Congrats on your upcoming interview!

I can tell you that it is VERY convenient for your hubby to sign up thru the DHL courier service for them to deliver his passport with the visa in it. The 2-5 days is a myth...trust me! DHL can deliver the passport in 3-10 days either to his home directly or to his place of work...which ever is to his convenience...but he must remember to put a valid phone number so that the DHL courier can call him for directions to the place of delivery.

He also has the option of picking up the passport himself at the embassy but this is done via a 1 HOUR window only from 1pm-2pm and this option is available to everyone who wish to collect visas (immigrant and non-immigrant) so the crowd may or may not be large.

Based on what I have just told you, your hubby can now decide if he wants to go to the embassy for pickup or have DHL deliver the fiancee visa in the passport.Here is the link for the DHL courier site:

Hi thanks. I contacted the embassy and they said he can't pick it up there. But either at the dhl location or mail. Does he have to sign for it? It's going to his moms cuz it's easier to get to.
