NVC process started

Hi to all the NVC fillers at the moment,

My I-130 got aproved on 03 April, it was sent to NVC on 11th of April . NVC received my case on 17th April and we got a case number on the 3rd of June (we called on 6th June the NVC to get the number).

Today(6th june) we completed the DS-261 form. On the NVC site the IV fee appears to be available but the AOS fee is N/A. We decided to wait for the morning to come and to call once again NVc to review the DS-261.Hope it's a wise decision☺

When my husband called NVC, he provided both email adresses, mine and his,buth we did not get any email yet. I know we have to wait a little to receive the welcome letter from the NVC.

Hope we can provide informational support to anyone willing and also for us to know about other people cases here.

Sorry,I did a mistake in the post above....It was 3rd May 2016 for NOA2 -> I-130

Same goes for when the case was sent --11th May

Case received 17th may

At this point, in NVC processing , we have paid our AOS and IV fee bill. We are waiting for the IV form (DS-260)to be available to submit and hopefully to send the package to the NVC by next week. What is your status?

It would be nice for us to help each other with information if we can. I will provide you with any infos I have?

my aunt just paid for the iv fee bill. aos fee is exempt since this is an eb2 visa.

well according to my lawyer we will fill out the ds260 and we must send some civil docs to nvc so they can start the visa processsing

We are in same position. We paid IV bill 2 days ago and it shows "IN PROCESS".

What is eb2 visa?

Ok...I understand now. But will you have same path in receiving imigrant visa as IR-1/CR-1 fillers?

I mean,at this stage of NVC processing,do you still have to send AOS and IV Package and wait for case complete, interview and then to have the visa issued as we do?

yes we are just the same. it is just i dont pay for the aos simce there is a work eaiting for me in US. but the rest of the process is the same. submit ds260 online, send the civil docs and financial docs from employer and wait for it to be case complete and for the interview

Good luck with colecting the documents and sending the package to NVC. Let me know when you get a scan date.

This weekend, my husand and I are going to put the package together and send it by next week to the NVC. Hopefully the DS-260 will be available by Monday since I understood that it takes up to 2 or 3 days for the IV Fee to apear as PAID and then the form will be available to complete and submit.
