Hello everyone!!
I am here filling out my N 400 form and since I don't want to make any mistake I would like to know if I should put N A where it s not applicable for me or I just should leave the spaces blank?
I am filling out the latest form and on the part 6 it asks info about my parents.
It says " If none of your parents is a US citizen skip this part and go to part 7" so should I put N A on all those spaces? or just leave it blank?
It might be a silly question but I am so terrified of doing something wrong and have my application either delayed or rejected that I prefer to ask...
Thanks for reading my post!!

I left everything that was not applicable to me blank.

Thank you so much for your fast reply!!
Now I m deciding if I should apply under the 3 or 5 yrs rule...lol
The thing is, I didn't know that I could send my papers even 90 days before I ve been a resident for 5 yrs so for months I ve been putting a bunch of info together ( All evidence to show my husband and I are still together)
I noticed applying under the 5 yrs rule require way less paperwork and now I don't know what to do...
Any advice on that??
And congrats on becoming an american citizen!!!!! :)(F)

Thank you :)

I personally don't know what I would have sent in for the 5 years application, but I applied under 3 years and didn't have to send in a lot of paperwork at all. All I sent in were my tax transcripts along with my N-400 and payment, but I was using the old form.

If someone else can enlighten us on what one actually sends with a 5 year application, please do.

Thanks for replying again!
You probably sent a copy of the marriage certificate and a copy of your spouse s birth certificate or something showing that they are an american citizen..
I have so much stuff tax returns ( bank statements from 2 joint accounts), car insurance info, medical insurance info, joint credit cards info, life insurance showing me as the beneficiary, etc etc
Thanks for asking an opinion of someone that applied under the 5 yrs rule, I would really appreciate it.
I ve been getting papers together for so long now that when I read the 5 yrs requirements it seems too easy and for some reason I m not sure if to apply like that or not...

I hope everything goes well, I wanna become a citizen real bad! :)
