Drive license with extension letter in pa

Hello, there is someone who wants to take the test for a dl with extension letter in Pa or change one??. I went in January to change my dl and they refuse me, because my gc expires in 6 months. They told me to bring them the extension letter, but now i'm reading about having issues with that, too. Thank you

Not so fast with the 'no worries' comment.

There are dozens of DMV offices in PA.

Each is staffed by dozens of people, some of whom may be familiar with extension letter, some not.

Some supervisors who you may ask to review may be familiar, some may not.

It CAN be a hassle for any given individual, at any given time, at any given office, in any given city, in any given state..

Am I saying to not try or to become hyper about this? No I am not.

But too often here the advice is given that there will be no problems.

This entire process is fraught with potential problems at every step.

Each individual should keep this in mind so they will not become traumatized when the problem crops up.

Over prepare for each step, expect the worst, hope for the best.

I think you're right. Sometimes depends by luck. It happens to me a few time, but in the end it was good. Thank you for your sincerity. I appreciate it and i'm not going to make some dreams about the whole process. God help us!

update (maybe will help someone else ) :

I went with my extension letter to make an ID at dmv office in pa. They were realy nice to me. They told me what papers should i prepare for them, then i was staing in line like 10 minutes and after that, i had my ID in hands. They are professionals.
