My first interview was on March 2, 2016

Denied for been illegally in US more than a year+

Waiver  I 601 submitted  May 2, 2016

Aproved    April 3, 2017

Received aproval letter  April 7, 2017

Waiting for instructions

We are mailing out waiver tomorrow, last consular interview was April 4th and was the second one. We were told 4 -5 months for approval, but if more than 6 months we would need new physical and if more than a year will need a new application. All for telling the truth. If you don't have a drug charge and it has been more than year since you smoked marijuana, by all means lie.....That is what they want you to do. The system is set up for failure.
