He made one joke and if you heard the whole translation of it and not just listen to the news that halfway translates it, then yes it was a unclassy joke. But it was only a joke. I believe that he is a good person who wants to the people above other things, and he absolutely hates criminals and other people taking advantage of others like 5/6's.

I have in laws of mine that have actually met Duterte many times and has frank conversations with him at times. If he tells me that he is a Honorable man and everything I have seen validates that then why am I going to say he isn't?

My wife's nephew is a Journalist in Davao City and is quite critical of things that need to be critical about. According to some people on here, Duterte would have him shot. But that is not the case because Duterte likes journalists who are not corrupt and actually report the Truth. So my nephew is fine because he is not corrupt and reports the truth.

Yes, as long as the journalists report the TRUTH, as prescribed by the president himself, all is well.

And most nice people I know make rape jokes on a daily basis. Just part of being a nice person.
