omG ,, please help today i went to get the police certificate and they ask me for the purpose of it or the place i will give it to ,, and when i told them for US embassy ,, the officer said i cant give it to u , cuz there some country we don't deal with such as US, Israel, Syria, Qatar,and Iran and so i told hem what i can do now he said go to get one from Ministry of Interior in Cairo !!!! and i just have 2 days for my interview ,, plz some one tell me did anyone go throw this or this something new ???

Go to make ur criminal record from the police office in same area u r living and there is nothing wrong to make it for American embessy it's not for USA it's for American embessy and if he refused go to his manager and no rules in Egypt refuse to get ur criminal record for American embessy

Horse hockey................., Egypt deals with US, we send billions of dollars to Egypt every year, you had a clerk who did not know his or more like too lazy to do it.... Its not something new the US Consulate asks for, thousands have been produced for just same reason you need it.

Go to local police Dept in your area, and ask for it such as Gaiver said to do.

No I'm serious, the US Government send millions of dollars to Egypt and other countries.

When the US consulate was attacked back several years ago, the US threatened to stop sending money there to Egypt every year.

1.2 Billion dollars sent to Egypt from USA for 2010 alone.. Stats from the Government Foreign Aid office. Every year its about 1.55 BILLION for anual aid per last report on the Obama administration, but talks of cutting it.

It don't go to the people of Egypt, it goes to the government there, and don't know what they do with it from there.

So I DO know what I'm talking about.

The US Embassy has many Egyptian employees that can read Arabic and will be able read the document and give the correct information. We have already spent so much time and money in translating all the original documents they asked for. In the family registration is showed My husband and me as his only wife. If an Egyptian man has been married multiple times it will show whether still married or divorced. My husband had never been married before, so it only showed me.

 

Ahmed got the family registration but the embassy never asked for it.

Hi guys, 

I had my interview 6 weeks ago in the us embassy in Lebanon. I had every, every thing with me. I am still on AP and many others like me, males and females. What I understood from the websites and from whats happening that the interviewer will make anyone of us seems is missing anything so he/she would be put on AP for unknown time! (There's extreme vetting for Middle Eastern)

Congratulations on your approval. Did they ask for anything when you finished your interview? Did they keep your passport and did they tell you the time period of when to expect your visa issued when the congratulated you on your approval?

 

I hope so soon your AP is finished and you receive your visa.

No they haven't congratulated me for anything. The interview went so smooth and in the end she told me we want you to bring a recent on going relationship proof with your wife "Chat messages" Even I had plenty of proofs. She gave me a g221 paper with my passport. after Four days I printed them a hundreds of chat papers and took it to them at the embassy. They told me I can check my case online, and they will call me when its ready. Its been around 6weeks my case still shows AP.
