Standard letter size paper

One last thing about Sponsor's Household size without a joint sponsor (the petitioner alone is the sponsor).

Why does it the PDF format automatically on a TOTAL of 3 household??? when me and my husband are only 2??? What's normally the total household size for a married couple without any joint sponsor for I-864??

Not sure what you are using that is automatically totally.

If it is only you and your husband the number is 2. Not sure what you are doing, did you only list yourself once in Part 2? (do take note in Part 5; ONLY COUNT EACH PERSON ONCE)

when i used an old version of Adobe acrobat pdf reader, the Part 5 questions 1 and 2 cannot be edited. Then i read somewhere here in VJ who got also same scenario as mine and they updated a newer version of Adobe pdf reader, so that's what i did.

When i have to open the I-864 in the updated version of PDF, the value in Part 5 questions 1 & 2 remained constant and fixed as both "1". Plus my answer in item number 3 is also 1 (asking if married write "1"), that falls to a TOTAL OF 3 HOUSEHOLD.... instead of 2..

Is it okay if opt to use a pen on that certain part only, while the rests are computer printed?

Yes you can use a pen to complete the form, not sure why you need to.

For Part 5:

Persons you are sponsoring in this affidavit (as noted in Part 3) = 1

Persons not sponsored = 1

Item 8: Household size = 2

that's what i also know. But anyway, i will try my best to edit that part so i'll get a total of 2.

thank you Hank always!!!

Hank am I correct with this, Part 5, (Persons NOT sponsored in this affidavit:) number 3: If you are currently married enter "1" for your spouse. I entered "0".

here's a photo for your reference. :dancing:13401084_10201738931751046_455906829_n.j

Yes that is correct, this is a list of those NOT sponsored, so "yourself" is your husband.

You are listed from Part 3.

Total = 2 :thumbs:

in support with I-864, would it be enough to submit 3 year Tax Transcripts? or a W2, ITR 1040 and pay stubs are also needed?

You may use tax transcripts, or the 1040 with W2 ... your choice.

Only most recent tax return is required, additional years optional :

Item Numbers 18.a. - 20. Federal Income Tax Return Information You must provide either an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) transcript or a photocopy from your own records of your Federal individual income tax return for the most recent tax year. If you believe additional returns may help you to establish your ability to maintain sufficient income, you may submit transcripts or photocopies of your Federal individual income tax returns for the three most recent years.
