Vaccine Records for I-693

Hello, getting ready to set up an appointment for the medical exam and getting things together.

I currently do not hold my vaccine records, nor does my Mother. I do know for a fact I have gotten all the appropriate ones. My Mother is going to look into finding the records, but if the fact is that I cannot obtain them will I have to get the (age appropriate) vaccines all over again?

You can request a blood test via your doctor which will show what immunity you have or might not have. You can then take this along to your medical as proof of vaccinations.

Hi, not to take over the post...but how exactly does that work with the blood sample? My husband also doesn't have his vaccination records.

It's called a titre test. I had it done, because I was old enough the records were no longer kept. They test for antibodies to the various diseases, like measles and all. If you have had the shot, or the illness, you will have antibodies to it in your blood sample.

All I had to get was a tetanus booster.

I also had no vaccination records so my Doctor suggested having a blood test, this will then show evidence of immunity.
