I had an "error" on my DS-260 in that after I had filled it in, I subsequently made another visit to US so my previous visits section was incorrect. I sent an email to the London Embassy via he online form asking whether I should submit a new form (knowing that the answer would probably be "no") and they wrote back and said no, you can raise it with the CO at the interview. So I printed that email and took it with me as proof that I had at least raised the question and not tried to "hide" anything. The CO at the interview had obviously seen the correspondence in the file when I got to my interview. So my advice would be to ask the question and follow the advice given, then print out all the correspondence and take it with you to the interview.

Funnily enough I got my answer yesterday - they told me to put my new passport number into the website, but leave DS260 alone, then point it out to the CO at the interview.

Thanks for the advice anyway though :)
