It requires a signed release form from the applicant of the petition. Reps and Senators represent legal residents even if they cannot vote for them.

He can contact them, it does not have to be done by a US Citizen. I had that situation with my first GC when they lost it ( or never sent it) and they wanted me to pay them in order to have it re issued. So I contacted our FL Senator and his office was more than helpful.

Nah, LPR's can contact representatives on their own. Since OP is the petitioner in the instance of ROC, it's probably actually best that he do it himself.

I filed for my wife July 30,2015 and she just got her 10 year green card about 10 days ago. I also see lot of other people getting approved or getting green card who applied around same time. It's probably coming any days now

Texas senators? One of them is Ted Cruz who ran for republican presidential campaign. The other is John Cornyn.

Just to note, your citizenship can be filed on July 25th, 2016, NOT July 23rd. 90 days is not 3 months.

https://www.cruz.senate.gov/?p=email_senator this is the link to Senator Ted Cruz, well actually his office. I did not call them instead I sent an email and there was a form I filled also with all the supporting documents and sent it via snail mail.

After that they should give you a reply as far as every step taken towards the resolution of your issue.

You got notified that your case is in security checks. There is nothing you or any senator can do to speed up security checks.
It will take however long it will take. Stay on top of it and inquire through the senator

what the status is to keep your case moving once security checks are completed.

Yes I sent mine to uscis on the 23rd and case was received on July 28 2015
