This is an interesting topic. My wife and I were in Russia during the Olympics and we happened across the Bronze medal men's volleyball match between the US and Russia. Personally, I didn't really care who won (not a big volleyball fan), but I could see my wife wanted Russia. When the US came back from down 0-2 and won, we shared a laugh and went back to life.
