Hello!

I'm adjusting from a K-1. My AP was approved and I've used it successfully. My AP and EAD did not come as combo card even though I filed them together. Unfortunately I was part of the last week of April approvals for the EAD and my card production got screwed up and I have not received the card (I've pretty much given up hope of ever getting it).

Yesterday I had my AOS green card interview and it was approved. Oh the app today (06/02) my status changed to "your card is in production" in the morning then this evening it changed to "your case is approved. We will send you your approval notice". So my question is, once I receive the paper copy for my permanent resident card, can I use that to work or do I have to wait for the physical card? Does it depend on the workplace? I already have a SSN in my married name that says "only valid with DHS with proper work authorization"

Thanks so much in advance!
