Did you receive Post Decision Activity email?

We got approved on 07/13 and still no email, no text. just check approval via Case tracker. Should I be worried?

Hey!

I'm sick and tired of all the waiting! Our case finally went to NVC...got the case number...and then was told it was forwarded to the Embassy in Bangkok on the 25th. So I've been tracking DHL shipments from NVC to Bangkok every day...and there's been one shipment about everyday. But so far our case still shows up as IN TRANSIT I'm willing to bet it is sitting in the Embassy waiting to be logged in, but who knows??? There's still so much to be done. And of course the dreaded interview to look forward to.

I've always thought of myself as a patient person...but my patience is definitely being tested. I just keep thinking...it'll be over soon and we'll be together, FINALLY!

Now my fiancé is procrastinating. She hasn't filled out the Packet 3 and schedule her medical or interview. Her reasoning is, we are still waiting 1 document from the Philippines and she wants everything ready when she finally schedule anything.

So funny...mine isn't really procrastinating but he seems overwhelmed by the running around and gathering documents. And I think he's spent so much time reading about the process and blogs that he's intimidated. I just want him to get his butt in gear and start making some progress. I wish I could be there to help him. I think he's having a hard time understanding the timing correlation between responding to Packet 3 and getting the interview. Anyway, we hit a big of a snag with his passport and had to get it renewed. That slowed him down a few days. But he got the new passport today, so he's headed off to Bangkok next week to begin gathering the documents he needs.

So far everything is going ok...wait times have been in line with what was set out in the beginning and our case has moved along faster than a lot of other Journeyers...so I shouldn't complain. But the waiting waiting waiting has been hard.

Who ever thought it would be possible for two men or two women in love to marry in the US...let alone apply for their partners to come to the US on a visa to marry???? As maddening and as long and as frustrating as this whole K1 process has been so far, I keep telling myself how lucky Noom and I are that we can even have a chance to make our dreams come true and build a life together.

So Noom is off to Bangkok today to begin the task of collecting his documents to support our visa application; he'll soon be sending in Packet 3. He'll be in Bangkok for about a week gathering his birth certificate, his single certificate, and ordering his police clearance certificate. And he'll be getting the relevant documents translated from Thai to English. He'll be dealing with Thai bureaucracy...running here and there. But he has a solid plan for tackling it all. And I'm so proud of him...how organized and positive he is about the whole process and everything he has to do. And he's so confident that we're going to get the visa and that he'll be here with me soon!

It is so exciting to be at this stage of the process! Please wish us well and send positive thoughts our way. Thank you so much...and all the best to all of you!
