OK, did more research on cases. I was just checking around 50-100 above and below our case. I did 250-300 above and below and there are a lot of cases received around june 01 that are not approved. I forgot they received thousands of these daily haha!

I don't know of anything specific although one of my fellow applicant at the London embassy for my K1 interview mentioned that he had used a Facebook equivalent of VJ. In addition, I think there is an 'off-topic' forum of VJ I don't know if it is used that often though.

After doing a SR yesterday. I got an email saying expect a respond by 9/22. Just got an email saying that the request was assigned. And the update to my case in the same email says that my AP was approved 8/31/16 and that my combo card with employment authorization will be mailed within the 30 days. Does this mean the employment authorization was also approved? Nothing has changed online. Help!

Thanks for the clarification. I also googled the card and I'm hoping it doesn't have the prison mug shot photos we sent in that Walgreens forced us in to. Maybe the smiley ones at biometrics if I'm lucky.

*fingers crossed* yours is delivered in the next day or so. I'm really not a fan of the mailing system here. I paid for overnight delivery for some shoes and they arrived a week later and I was pretty much told to make do. Plus the company wanted me to return the shoes at my own expense if they didn't fit. Sometimes I miss the Royal Mail lol Oh but I found maltesers in the mail box today

Yes it is approved the combo card is for EAD & A/P. Congratulations.

Congrats Jannina! It seems like a long time ago for the K1 visa interviews, so much has changed. We filed a bit later than you, but we're patiently waiting now.

Hey it so good to hear from you!!! Today we celebrate 5 months of being married and in two weeks it'll be 6 months since I moved to the US.

Fyi, It is soooooo much different than the K1. You need a lot more patience and there are issues on knowing precisely the status of your case. It took a long time for me to be able to view my cases online and I have been stuck in the "Fingerprint fee was received" status for my AOS forever. However, it seems that this might mean that the interview could be waived (this happens to a lot of people coming from a K1 visa), so it is not necessarily a bad thing. Keep yourself busy so time passes by quickly.

AWESOME Sauce! I Just re read The email. It was not assigned to anyone. It was telling me that it was approved the combo card to be mailed. Yay.. September started just great! Thank you Baby Jesus! ??????

Just changed my last name on my SSN! So beyond excited. I needed passport, ID, EAD combo card and marriage certificate. It took about 5 minutes. Was told my card should be delivered within 5 days but if not then it should not be more than 2 weeks!
