It will stay on approved until it's mailed... That usually takes a few days a few days to a week after the "approved" status so just give it time... It should change to card has been mailed on Thursday or Friday

Thank you so much for the reply a weight has been lifted off me was starting to worry

All those getting updates vía email or text, are those notices coming in during the day hours or late evening? I know when my initial application I got a late evening notice on a Monday and when I check the website I have Friday's date approval. Just curious ?

Both of mine came in at around 7:30 pm on Saturday

Oh whoa thats odd. Today is the 75th day. Nothing last update showing is July 24th I think that's when they received biometrics results taken on July 12. When we called a few weeks ago, the rep said that everything [results I guess what he meant by everything] came back to them to give them up to 75 days and if we didn't hear anything by then to call again. Should I wait until tomorrow or Friday to call them just to give them a bit more of time. I know it could take up to 90 days and many here already marked the 90 days mark but oh la la 6 months with no income my husband is going crazy and we are a household of 4 and we yet need to adjust his daughter's status too. Uuuuffff just venting!

Day 91 since received date, no movement on EAD, no RFE or RFIE - SR went unheard besides their cryptic email about shortly...I am loosing faith and getting worried and now the wife is getting worried something went wrong with her cases. Not sure what to do other than hope and pray she is on a waiver since she is a K1 Visa and they are actually going to approve the GC in a few days. :)

I've come to the conclusion that most things related to these applications are done in batches. It may just be when notifications are sent out, but it's too coincidental that so many have the same dates for when action was taken on their applications. I've even noticed that several people have the same interview dates, in this case September 22nd, which also happens to be mine.

hate to be the downer here but im just being realistic here... if she gets waived she can be waived any point which can be within the next few days or it can be months and months from now.. the average waived approval at the NBC is 15-18months... if shes lucky and her case get sent to a local office to be waived then she's still looking at 3-9months for the approval without interview... as i said hate to be the downer but im just giving you realistic timeframes... I'm currently a very high probability of getting my interview waived and im on day 143 now and my last status update was more than 110 days ago for my i-485

I think the same thing...don't know why my posts aren't showing up after I quote from them...must be missing the push 'send' button. My last update too was on July 24th although I filed later than others (June 29th). I am going a wee bit stir crazy and must remember that in a couple of years I would probably give my right arm to have this kind of time off again but it doesn't help....hang in there everyone!!

Definitely not a downer :)

Just getting frustrated there's been no EAD approval for her and she's starting to get extremely anxious about it. She was being super patient, but this week she's broken down and cried and thinks she's being ignored!

Need to get my mind on something else and hers, maybe I can get her hooked on football haha!! :P

I've seen a few people go help out at animal shelters and other stuff some of them places require EAD even tho it's volunteer work other don't require EAD... Maybe you could get her involved in something like that? Maybe if that's not her thing is there anything else she's pationate about that has volunteer work?? Edited by Moslund

Huzzah on your card :)

Yes, the card arrived yesterday and now it is in the post again to where my wife and are currently staying on the West Coast! It doesn't look like I'll need to go on the international trip next week which is handy. My EAD photograph is terrible as it was taken at the ASC during my biometrics. I'm at an angle because the camera was set up in a right angle of a corner which was difficult to face into. The biometrics technician didn't seem concerned that I was barely facing the camera but I made her retake just to try to get me actually facing the camera more.

Good luck with the SSN :) I managed to get mine sorted the day after landing in the US on a K1 (less than 24 hours after POE at the airport, in fact). The card arrived within a few days, and then I went in a few days later to change my surname to my married surname. It was so painless and the person at my local SSA Office knew exactly what they were doing. Hopefully the experience is extra easy for you too!

Simon
