Requested to have my Ead to be expedited based on a job offer on August 3, 2016 and finally received an email last night that it was approved and card is in production. Happy to know that I will soon be working finally.

Jun-24-2016 - Biometrics Appointment Letter (Day 17)

July-5-2016 - Biometrics Appointment Successful (Day 28)

August-15-2016- RFE for proof of Job offer (Day 69)

August-20-2016- Email stating New Card is being produced (Day 74)

Just got update! I-765 New card is being produced!

I-130 sent: 28th of October, 2015
USCIS received I-130: 2nd of November, 2015
NOA1 - text message: 4th of November, 2015
CASE routed to Nebraska Service Center
NOA1 - mail: About a week later - not sure about the exact date
NOA2 - 8th of March, 2016

Adjustment of Status

AOS packet sent - 6th of June, 2016
AOS delivered/picked up - 7th of June, 2016

3x NOA1 via e-mail/text - 20JUNE, 2016

3x NOA1 hard copy - 24JUNE, 2016

Biometrics letter - 30JUNE, 2016 (appointment date 07/15/2016)

Biometrics done - 1JULY, 2016

And congratulations to all others too that have received good news!

I'm waiting for a message that the documents for the RFIE were received; USPS delivered our reply to them yesterday morning but haven't received a notification yet. I know to be patient with them but at times it's nerve wrecking.

I called today, but I was told I have to wait until day 76 to ask for a SR :oops: even though on the USCIS web site it says that you can ask for a SR at day 75...i am so impatient

How strange haha!

For anybody that is interested, I was able to file a Service Request (SR) for my EAD online without having to speak on the telephone at the National Customer Service Centre! I did this it right about 3 minutes after midnight East Coast time on the 75th day since filing.

I filed using USCIS Service Request for Outside Normal Processing Time form here. In the section entitled 'Last Action Taken on Case', I put the last action and I also included the words 'Approaching Regulatory Timeframe'. It was resolved in a few days and I didn't need to phone up to make the SR at all. I received the same emails as others did that phoned up with the Service Requests.

Hope that might help somebody!

What are the benefits/risks to filing a Service Request (SR)?

There are no risks... All a service request does is make Uscis look into see why you case hasn't been approved... Best case scenario it gets approved... Worst case scenario they tell you it's within normal processing times

April 8th: AOS sent

April 11th: Recieved at Chicago lockbox [Day 0]

April 25th: NOA1 date (never recieved e-notifications) [Day 14]

April 29th: NOA1 hard copy recieved in the mail [Day 18]

May 9th: "Fingerprint fee recieved" [Day 28]

May 12th: Reciept number's start working on USCIS case status website [Day 31]

May 20th: Biometrics letter recieved [Day 39]

June 1st: Biometric appointment [Day 51]

​November 12th: Interview letter received ​[Day 216]

December 1st: Interview day! APPROVED [Day 235]

December 5th: Case status changed from "fingerprint fee received" to "Approved" post dated Dec 1st [Day 239]

Received approval letter in the mail for Green card [Day 239]

December 6th: "Card was mailed to me" [Day 240]

December 8th: Green card received in mail!!! [day 242]
