I've been one of the lucky ones able to get health insurance without AOS/SSN etc but I've been told I have til the 11th September to provide them a SSN or they'll stop my insurance. Do you think it might be grounds for calling up soonish about EAD?

If you have health problems and absolutely need health care then yes cause without it the Medical bills would through you into hardship so technically yes but if your a fit and healthy person they would probably deny the expedite

I suspected this. Hopefully we hear something this week but there's still enough time to put all the ducks in a row. Another positive, I just checked our field office processing info and they're now only 4 months so *fingers crossed*

Just got update that they canceled our interview at our request - which we basically never requested. We sent a letter to our Local Office where our case is handeled asking to advise us what to do since my husband will be in the training before his up coming deployment whether we have to reschedule, whether I can come alone etc. They sent us mail to let US know. So I am nervous to see what the outcome is. Whether they rescheduled or what documents they need from US. Will shall see.. I was so excited that we got interview scheduled.. Oh well. I should be used to this by now. Sorry, just needed to vent. It's always a bummer when things cant go as planned because of my husband's job.

The joy of marrying in to the military. We gave up planning anything that couldn't be changed at the last minute, they buggered things up on us all the time. It does become tedious. But don't let it get you in a rut hon. Things will fall in to place rightly soon enough. *hugs*

Add me to the list of New Card is Being Produced!!!! Yohoooo So happy to get news on my EAD via text message and email.

My question is if this means it includes the AP as a combo card. I didn't get any notifications with my AP receipt number and my status still appears as Case Received.

Congrats to everyone else that has been getting news on their EAD!!

Congrats! I believe the combo card is coming. I got another text after 6 or 7 hours of my EAD update saying the AP was approved, and both EAD and AP status changed to case approved.

Just got a response to the service request that I placed on Monday.

"The status of this service request is:

Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly."

So.. Still no update on my end!

So i got an update regarding my EAD. It says that the card was mailed to me today. Anyone knows how to track it with the USPS? I didn't get any tracking numbers. Thanks!

goto usps.com and sign up for an account then goto the myusps dashboard and click to sign up for that, do some validations and then when you get a package sent to your address it'll show up under that myusps dashboard.

Checking the case tracker, I see a few cases above Janice's that are approved for EAD/AP then a few below are getting approved. It's getting close!! Getting so anxious for Janice to get her EAD/AP...hehe!!

Unless you're willing to get deported and surrender your AOS, It's a definite MUST to wait for the card. Working without it will ruin everything for you

I just got two more notifications EAD and AP both approved!!! I feel so happy I could dance!! :dance:

Yes, it's the myusps dashboard once you sign up for the account, sign in, then click myusps and hit the sign up for that too and validate your address, it'll show on that dashboard when you get like priority mail not normal mail.

It does work, I had a package on there from ebay and I never input any tracking number.
