I have a quick question, and I'm sure this has been addressed before, but I can't seem to find any recent information. We filed an I-485 and I-131 in early June. We received an RFIE on the I-485 in late July, requesting additional tax information. We mailed in the reply last week. My question: To what extent will the RFIE delay processing of the I-131, advanced parole?

I was reading on USCIS website that

If USCIS does not make a decision on your Form I-765 within 90 days, (30 days for asylum applicants), you may request an interim EAD. The interim EAD can be granted for a period up to 240 days.

I know we are only at day 70, but my husband is becoming impatient and he really wants to work, so just in case it is going to take more than 90 days I was wondering if it is possible to request the interim EAD.

( I am the petitioner)

Does your status changed to 'RFIE received '?

I wonder how long they even take to look into case again!

I got RFIE and send it back this week too..

Congratulations to those who started receiving their EADs. That is exactly what we want to hear :) :) :)

Last month, most EADs (and APs) seemed to take 90+ days for adjudication by the USCIS. Is there a new trend for less than 90 days (e.g. around 80-85 days?). Or am I misinterpreting based on a few cases reported here?

I've looked at the VisaJourney statistics for EAD which currently shows at 88 days. However, I know there is a bit of a lag between updating cases on VisaJourney and these changes resulting in a significantly change in the statistics.

Simon.
