I have to ask since I can't find anything just yet but what happens in the interview

If you have an interview it will be pretty much like the one you had in your country. Now with your partner there. They'll ask about your relationship, questions on the forms you files, everyday life, whatever else they feel like asking.

He might want to put on his polite face. Being 'really really blunt' and 'very private' can easily be misconstrued. He wouldn't want to come across as evasive and rude to the person who decides if he can stay or not.

Keeping my fingers crossed mine is like that as well. But it's something like that, they can be invasive as well. They should have an idea about the couples and relationships by the time people get there, so I guess they only try to confirm everything

Even when I eventually get my GC that feeling will temporally go away but as soon I start the process to become a naturalized citizen that feeling is going to come back once again... I hate it I really do but it's part of the process... I don't recall having this feeling during the k1 process except for the night before my interview and the day of my interview... I was literally throwing up the night before it was bad!!! the nerves got the better of me haha every since submitting my AOS I've been a nervous wreck

That is why people adjusting from K1 and have their AOS interview waived are super lucky, considering the K1 interview is so much easier and less scrutiny.

AOS - 130 days

I just need to vent... We called yesterday to find out what is going on. USCIS received the biometrics results.. All cleared within the few days of the appointment however we have not heard anything.. It has been 60 days and yes I know there are people waiting longer but the anxity is taking its toll on things.. Husband is getting anxy and so am I. It is even causing issues between us.. I have tons of patience but he doesn't and it is making me less patient too. Do u know of anyone that Has anyone return back home and returned when AP card was issued?

If you leave WITHOUT your approved AP is classed as abandoning your I-485 which can results in having to start to process all over again!!! AP/EAD is approved between 75-90 days your already at 60days your so close to getting your AP I wouldn't leave without an approved AP unless your going to get a divorce... It's either keep things together for the next 15-30days or him leave without the AP and a high probability of abandonment and having to apple for a CR-1 (spouse visa) from his home country... Marriage isn't easy you need to work at it... If you can't get through the stressful situation together withou wanting to go home for a timeout what are you going to in the future?? There is allot of emotions running high you deal with new life new adjustments getting that itch of cabin fever from being stuck at home.. You need to get over that hump vs taking a timeout... When your interview time comes USCIS probably going to question why he left before the AP which may cause problems in getting an approval that if he successfully got a reentry without it being marked as abandonment

Thanks for the encouragement. We not taking a timeout holy moly this is hard waiting. His anxity has transferred to me and the kids (mine and his). God is great and I know soon something gotta give... But being in a household of 4 with one income, new adjustment, two 5 years old with different upbringing, me having health issues from stress, broke, broke, broke ? It is not easy but I can't lose my faith.. He needs to wait point blank (I am telling him as such) Hahahaha
