i have a question .Did you guys sent only one certified copy of the marriage certificate for all the EAD/Ap and AOS or you did send two other copies?

Personally, I sent one certified copy attached to I-485. I also sent two photocopies, one attached to the EAD and the other to the AP.

However, I know that some have sent three certified copies (one each for the I-485, EAD and AP). Equally, I know others have sent just one certified copy attached to the I-485 and nothing with the EAD or AP.

Simon.

P.S. As of yet, I haven't heard anything back from my AOS despite sending June 1st (received date was June 3rd; NOA notice date was June 10th). My MSC* numbers aren't working on the USCIS Case Tracker either yet. I'm actually concerned that I'll get an RF(I)E for a number of the issues. Perhaps the pencil on my photographs penetrated the passport-sized photographs too much; perhaps some issue with financial support documents; perhaps I filled in an item incorrectly; perhaps an issue with the marriage certificate. I guess we'll see soon! Finger crossing!

I am able to track my case status now for I-485, the case is ready to be scheduled for an interview. The EAD and AP still gives validation error. Praying for a speedy process for all of us. ☺️?

There a little back up with EADs the now so the average approval time for EAD currently is between 85-100days now... Dmv won't entertain you until you get a SSN which you won't have until your EAD arrives

I do have a SSN I got it before I got my ID. We decided I get and ID instead of the Drivers license because I wasn't prepared for the exam. I overlooked at the fact that the ID expired with my I-94. :(

Hi Jannina, I did get my Florida Drivers license, my I-94 was almost expired so they said at first they could only give me until the expiration date. But I kept asking as my feeling on this was that once you apply for AOS you are in the system so you should be able to get a Drivers License. The lady who helped me was very kind, talked to someone else and went back into the system. She said that yes, there was an exception, and she could give me the license for a year so it has temporary license written on it. So you could give it another try. Good luck!

Thanks Soley I will try. I wish I had noticed this before. Since my I-94 already expired I'm not sure if they will be able to help me. It's woth trying! Thanks for your advice and good wishes! :D

On my daily check of my four receipt numbers, ONE finally started working!! I-130, I-131, I-765 still come up as 'error', but the I-485 shows up! Status: "Case is Ready to be Scheduled for an Interview" !!! Very cool! I didn't expect that to happen so quickly since I am adjusting from B-2 (no I-129 filing), but I'll take the good news!!

If you try, Jannina, make sure you take your marriage certificate with you and have your husband there as well with his passport. That's what we needed to get it done.

They can pull up your I94 there and will see it's expired but tell them you have applied for AOS and so you are legally here. You are not even supposed to leave the country at this point!!! They might have to talk to a supervisor but it can be done :) Take your NOA's with you as well, we needed to show them.

Jelly.jpg6553cea5-2aa4-4060-bcc1-c166b92

Referring back to the above photo and channeling my inner Destinys Child: "I don't think I'm ready for this jelly"

I'm excited for everybody else and eager/nervous for things to move in iota on my case. I've not had anything yet either Yongma :) my NOA date was June 10th so slightly before you. I phoned up today as it had been more than 45 days since my Received Date (June 3rd) and I was unable to view the case on the USCIS Case Tracker. A Tier 2 agent looked at my case in his computer system as the Tier 1 agent was unable to view the case. He kindly went through each of the MSC* numbers and said that nothing has happened yet apart from they received my biometrics. I asked and he told me that the case hadn't been transferred to a Local Office as of yet.

Something was a bit odd though. He told me that they received my biometrics on July 7th. I thought this was a bit of a late date given that I the Biometrics on June 27th. Admittedly, I did my biometrics in Chicago as my wife and I were travelling between Boston and California as part of our mini-moon.

I'll continue to check in the hope that our cases are being first worked through over the course of the next week. I'm both eager and dreading to find out if I'm going to get an RF(I)E for something.

Simon.

That's hounds about right them getting it on July 7th... Once you do the biometrics it gets sent to the FBI for clearance... Once your cleared the results get sent to the USCIS so on July 7th was probably when they recieved clearance of your biometrics from the FBI... Your clearance typically takes 3-30days to get cleared from the FBI Edited by Moslund

Woof :) (because 'hounds'!)

Thank you so much Moslund! I love and really appreciate your thoughts. Well, at least it appears roughly on time then! It's really really kind and comforting to read your thoughts (and hopefully it is to other).

I continue to wait, moseying through the eager and worry just like everybody else... being hyperattentive to completely non-diagnostic cues, hoping for progression but biasing towards perceptions of halts!
