We went to Charlotte for an early walk in for our biometrics today. The building looked kind of fishy but once we were in they were all very nice and professional! Just the outside doesn't look like a government building more like an old dry cleaner or something :) anyways there were only about 5 people in. The guard took my passport, appointment letter and marriage certificate, made me fill out a page with some info and hand it to the receptionist. There was only one person waiting before us to get their fingerprints taken. We waited about 5 minutes tops. Everyone was very nice! The lady who took my fingerprints even complimented my dress and had a little chat with me about my fitbit and eating healthy. Taking fingerprints and pictures took about 5 minutes and that was it! So excited to gey my EAD/AP, hopefully I'll hear something soon!! Glad we don't have to go back on the 20th!

That's great!

If you take a look at the April filers thread, looks like they're getting their cards now, 90 full days and up. No one from May got cards yet. It's taking longer than before, so prepare for a "little" waiting.

Thanks Jordan&Dan

Looks like our timeline is very similar. I'm hoping to see the bio letter by the end of the week and hopefully do a walk-in next week. I couldn't find any information on the Morrisville, NC office online. Maybe that's a good sign, and they aren't too busy.

We just did our biometrics! We did a walk-in at 11am. It was actually pretty busy when we went, but they didn't seem to care. The whole thing took about 15 minutes even though there were at least 20 other families there.

I'm sure you won't make the same mistake as we did, but we actually went to the wrong place at first! I just assumed that it was at the USCIS center, but when we got there, the security guard directed us to a different building, which was about 8 minutes up the road. The address is on your bio letter, but I just typed in "USCIS center" into Google Maps so we ended up at the wrong one! He said it happens all the time. Good thing it wasn't our actual appointment day or we might've been late!

Overall, super easy process. Hope yours goes just as well!

Thanks for the update

We received the letter yesterday and we're going to try to get it done on Monday. The strange thing is that the website says they're open 24 hrs a day, except on Sundays; I know that can't be right. Did you happen to see what time they close? We want to go in the afternoon, if possible.
