07/18/2016 - Done with biometrics in 15-20mins.

08/03/2016 - Received text message that I-485 online status changed (RFIE received)

08/08/2016 - RFIE (yellow paper) hard copy for I-485 received

09/23/2016 - RFIE Response sent

09/27/2016 - NBC received RFIE response (I-485 online status changed)

We received our biometrics letter on 7/8! Seems so quick since we got the NOA hardcopies earlier that week (Especially considering our K1 process took a year). So thankful this is moving faster!

The appointment is scheduled for 7/22 but we're going to try to walk-in this week since the USCIS center is only 20 minutes from where we live.

I know there are a few Raleigh-Durham, NC filers on this thread so I'll let you know how the walk-in goes!

Looks like our timeline is very similar. I'm hoping to see the bio letter by the end of the week and hopefully do a walk-in next week. I couldn't find any information on the Morrisville, NC office online. Maybe that's a good sign, and they aren't too busy.

Hi all!

FYI Update...

Hubby had this fingerprints today in York PA 11 was the time he walked in at 9:30 no problem and he got it done, quick 15 minutes and back to the house he goes no issues. Thanks God. I didn't have to go with him. I couldn't because of work. No issues bc the SSN was not printed on the notice...

Finger crossed for fast EAD processing. He is getting anxy from being not working for so long. He is a workaholic to the max.

Good luck to the rest getting fingerprinted soon and for those already done with it finger crossed and good luck dust for fast processing for all.

We got our biometrics letter in the mail today, appointment is on July 20th, 11 AM but we will definitely try to do an early walk in somewhere next week! We`re sent to Charlotte NC

I have a question:

I've applied for a SSN at the end of May but at the office they told me that when I entered the USA they made a mistake with my two middle names. Apparently they've put my first name and 2 middle names, as ONE first name in a box without spaces and the last letter missing <_< They also said it could take longer for the SSN to be processed.. and that's true because I'm already waiting for 7,5 weeks.. it this something I should worry about, concerning the AOS filing?

Well on top of our timeline we have that ssn problem in common then haha,my middle names were put qs my first name too they say its very common since in the us people only have one middle name. It took a while longer but arrived eventually,they told me 12 weeks but i got it after about 8 or 9 weeks, so hopefully you will get yours soon too!

Hello,

Uscis chicago received my papers on May 27th. I received the e-notification for "acceptance confirmation" on June 5, 2016( which was a sunday evening :wacko: ). I still have not received my I-797 confirmation notification by mail and its been 13 days after they received all my papers. They have also cashed my check June 3rd,2016.

I have been checking with the receipt number from my emails and texts and none of them work on case status!

Why is it still not in the system???

Why is there a delay with the paper notificatiion??? HELPPPP.
