AOS package was delivered on June 28th... we attached the electronic notification form. Should I still be expecting that they send a text and/or e-mail? Curious how long it takes them to 'accept' the package. They haven't cashed the filing fee, either. :/

It's different for everyone. I received emails, but never any texts. Some people only get texts... some get neither... None of that matters once you receive the paper I-797C's for each form you submitted. Hang in there :)

Even if you sign up for the text and emails doesn't mean you will get it sometimes the officer Doing your paperwork ignores that piecee of paper... It took 17days to process my documents and my check was cashed on day 18 of them recieving my documents

Good evening.

I really appreciate this thread since it's been of so much help following my case while is being processed.

I wrote before because I couldn't check my cases online after getting my case numbers through email.

I'm now curious since I now got my biometrics scan date on email, but I still have the same problem with not being able to check my case numbers online. I'm haven't even gotten any email notification after receiving this email. I don't know if this is normal since they are in their busiest season (someone said that in another thread). I know I shouldn't worry about it, but does anyone know why is it that I'm receiving everything through mail, but not email? I need to mention that I also changed my address because I moved to another apartment, but it happened that I received the mail for my biometrics in my old apartment address, even though I changed my address 3 weeks ago. Is this normal?

What have people been doing in mean time of all this? Has anyone been successful in obtaining a driver license ? I got told I can't in Arizona cos my K1 visa had an expiry date and she didn't take my word for it that it was the date I had to get into the states by :/

does EAD allow working in any state as I may be moving soon?

I am the beneficiary originally from UK !!
