Updated! And yeah I figured it's beneficial to know if the walk ins are successful/attempted because you never know if that effects the speed of the AOS processing itself

And thanks! Figured we could put something like this to good use and there aren't a lot of us as you can see for June :)

Luckily for me I had a spare original certificate which was handcrafted from ancient papyrus from an Egyptisn tomb circa 5000BC (so I was told). Not only that, it also has been lined by an inch thick border of gold leaf that brings out the embossed design of ancient Mayan text (some nonsense about the stars, union, virility etc etc).

I personally liked the way it was scribed by an old aboriginal way of writing which certainly does make it unique.

Beats the old black and white Canon laser printer versions you normally get!

Haha it does beat that :)

Thank you for the links in your signature, they are helpful!

Thank you! And oh yes, it is beneficial to know about the walk ins. Each office is different too. Some people say it was so easy and fast. In West Palm Beach there were at least 50 people waiting and a long line.

Still hopeful for a fast progress otherwise. BTW I can't check my case online either. It gives an error on all of the receipt numbers.

Good for you, congratulations! :)

I still wonder if doing a walk in would speed up the process. Does anyone have proof or has anyone read it does?

So far I haven't seen any proof it speed up things (and would be interested in reading anything if anyone finds it), but if it's possible to try and do the walk in I'd say go for it.

Timeline

It seems like those who filed early this June got/done their biometrics. It has been three weeks now after I received my NOA1 and haven't heard anything yet from USCIS. ?

Don't worry. USCIS got my AOS package the last day of May, I got the NOA1 Hard copy on June 10th and just got the Biometrics a week ago. My biometrics appointment is next Tuesday.

Chin up, cheers and don't loose your patience. As I once read in one of this forums "No news is Not bad news". ;)
