So no news is good news in this instance? None of my numbers are showing up online and I've resigned myself to only checking once a day, especially being aware of the 45 day rule and the many updates on here where people haven't had their numbers show online the whole process.

Alright I am stressing just a little bit here.]

When I filed for AoS, EAD and AP I put everything in one package, with just one cover letter, all just following one another. not in separate little packages in my envelope.

I only included one copy of my passport, one copy of my birth certificate, one copy of our marriage certificate.

I was reading through other people`s cover letters and saw that a lot of people put extra copies of them behind each new form (behind the AP and behind the EAD). I only did it after the I-485.

I did include extra passport pictures.

Will I get an RFE for this or will they just use what they have since it`s all included in my package anyways, just not 3 times?

How did you guys do yours?

You should be fine. This is exactly how I did mine!

Edit for others: Having your case show up is completely hit or miss. Some people go through the entire process, interview, approval, and everything and never see a case status. My case status worked fine from the get go, no RFE's or anything.

Try again, just be there 40 minutes before closing. It is worth to try and you got nothing to lose. Good luck.

Thank you Rosa but this office was cramped with people. I think even coming a bit before closing time would not have been possible. We asked the guard that he said there were just too many people in. And as it is over an hour away from us I think we are now just going to wait for the appointment date. They also had a sign on the desk that they did not want any walk-ins. And that all people with an appointment were supposed to NOT be there until 30 minutes before their appointment time. Too bad the lady on the phone did not tell us before hand. But we had a good day anyway, combined it with other things we had to do around there.

Do u guys know ..how long USCIS. Takes to sent e notification to mobile phone of applicant once they receive the AOS packet ?

Also do we gonna e notification of NOA's on phone via text also ?

If you read all the answers on this thread you will get the answers you ask for. And if you look at the full version of the website (not the mobile one) you will see in the signatures of everyone the dates of receiving notifications so you can figure out those things.

We went to the bank but that lady, as usual, was clueless. She said there is a copy of the check that they scanned when they received it, but she doesnt think it's cashed. So idk if they cashed ours or not, but up till now, no texts or e-mail, no hardcopies in the mail. We sent ours june 17th and t was delivered june 20th. All we can do is wait.. i forgot how upsetting this process is. After our k1 got approved it was like giving birth, it hurts like hell but once it's there you forget the pain, but with the second baby, there is that pain again :) let's hope we can forget about this pain soon as well!

We sent our AOS packet June 11th, it was received on the 16th and the check was only cashed last Friday the 24th. We received texts and emails yesterday (6 exactly the same to be precise!) and are now waiting on the physical NOA.

I know that after a week or so I was starting to get worried but fear not. Unfortunately this is a huge game of patience. Hope this helped!!

Hi.

I will be filling for AOS in July for my wife. I have a doubts on three things if anyone can help out it is very appreciated.

Each forms requires 2X2 pictures. Therefore do I need a total of 6 2X2 for the following forms: I-485,I-765, I-131?

Are K-1 status known as a Refugee? In document I-131 what do they mean by advance parole?

I wish you guys all the luck for a speedy journey.

Thank you :)

Here's a link of filled out sample forms for AOS (I-1485, I-765 and I-131) fill out your forms the same way they are filled out in the samples. It will answer your question if K1 is a refugee or not. The answer is no.

Follow this link: http://www.visajourney.com/content/examples

You only need two (2) 2"x2" Passport Photos.

Advance Parole is prior permission to be able to leave the U.S. and come back during the AOS process. Use the sample forms in the link above to fill out the forms you need. They are straight forward.
