AOS June 2016 Filers

Hey all,

My PD is June 21 2016 and the case status still shows "My fingerprint fee received" - no updates since June 2016!

I am wondering about the delay, especially since USCIS website says that NSC is processing cases as of July 2, 2016!!

I'm in the same boat.  My PD is June 14, Fingerprints fee received 6/20.  I submitted a Service Request on 12/12.  On January 17 I received an answer

"USCIS systems indicate that your case is awaiting an interview. Your local USCIS Field Office will contact you once they are able to schedule the appointment. Should you not be contacted by your local USCIS Field Office within 90 days of this notice, please contact customer service at the number provided below." They have until 4/17/2017 to schedule an interview.

Hello all, 

 

Quick update from my side. 

 

We recently received the interview date and we went today. 

We were approved and the green card is now in production.

 

Right after getting my EAD/AP there was some mistake with e-verify but it was quickly straightened out.

Glad to finally be able to put part of this behind us and continue to build a life together with my wife in the US.

 

Hope everything goes well for everyone who is still waiting.

Dankjewel! At some point it had been so long that I almost forgot about it. But it's a relief to finally be able to move on.

Just in time for a trip back to the Netherlands. No waiting in line at the airport on either side!

Hello, June 2016 AOS filers! Hope I can join your support group. Our PD was March 11, 2016 and we are now the only filers left without GC or interview in the March 2016 AOS filers forum. Looks like most couples in April and May 2016 forums have had their interviews or received GCs, so.....here we are.

We've submitted four service requests, had an Infopass appointment, and contacted our congressperson for help. We just found out in Feb that my hubby is still under security checks and that's the reason for the delay. No idea why no one told us that before Feb (nearly a year into the process), but that's USCIS for you. Nothing else we can do at this point but wait.

We're in the same boat. PD is March 14, 2016, no update since March 2016, submitted one service request so far. Frustrating.
