Well, if they scanned the letter you can see it on your dashboard. Even though they do maintenance I can still see a priority mail pre-shipment info sent to usps. I just checked again so I know my card is on the way [/

Good morning. I got like 5 text messages over night with updated info. We were provided with a tracking number.. yay! Expected delivery is Monday. I hope the mailman doesn't leave in someone else's mailbox like they have left other items and they have been lost. I will be waiting for him outside to ensure he doesn't make that mistake again with this one. So exciting... my husband is thrilled ? And so am I!

Hey Soley, we had a blast, thanks for asking! I think I gained about 10 pounds in two weeks, eating all the food and drinking all the lipton ice tea I had missed so much As usual it went by way too fast, but we still enjoyed it.

I seem to have convinced my father to visit us in the US as well, and they will be visiting us in April already, seems like we live from visit to visit anymore, there hasn't been more than 6 months in between but that's not a bad thing

I'm studying for my learners permit at the moment and job hunting.

It feels great that life can finally start! This approval was the last little push we needed, on top of the promotion my husband just got at work today. I'll have to make something festive for dinner, and cake for dessert haha. We'll celebrate with a Stella beer!

I see your interview is coming up very soon now, how exciting!! Are you getting nervous? I know I would be! Is yours far away? I am happy we don't have one as it is 5-6 hours away, but I'm sure we won't be that lucky with the ROC!

And visits....how wonderful! I know how that feels!! We have been getting visitors from overseas and it's great every time. I now get to spend more time with everyone who comes over than back home as visiting for a few weeks is different than going over for dinner. I really like it!

So... I had my interview yesterday!!

We were just in time due to some unforeseen traffic, I was getting nervous! But luckily we had taken extra time for the trip!

Once inside we had to wait about one hour. The interview lasted about an hour also. The officer that interviewed us seemed very stern but turned out to be a kind person. He asked some questions and had to show our IDs. We did not have to show anything out of the large pile of extra evidence we brought in! He appreciated the fact that I was forthcoming with information in my application as well as in earlier interviews (for my B-2 visa and at the border). He said he would approve me and I'd receive news within 2 weeks. Today I received the notification that a new card is being produced!!

Near the end of the interview my husband asked what the officer thought of the file that I had put together; he said it was definitely above average and better than the ones many professional lawyers bring in. We are so glad we didn't have a lawyer, we know nicer ways to spend our money! We had heard beforehand you really need one but we decided to do it all ourselves and were rewarded. All it takes is time and you have to read everything over carefully.

Congrats...mine was mailed today too. Didn't get a tracking number either...you can check you 'myusps' site to check on the status. The site is unavailable today..so you'd have to wit till tomorrow.

So happy for you buzzzz, now you can let go of all the worries

I checked the mailbox at 3pm today.. but no EAD/AP card.. Just got home and checked the USCIS app and I saw that my EAD/AD card was delivered today. So I ran downstairs and YES I received the card and the I-485 status changed to 'Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview'

i received my interview letter yesterday... so now i gotta get my whole package ready including the kitchen sink...lol ( we dont have that much , and am kinda worried hence most of our bills are split, some in my name and others in my hubbys name ), also worried because i am a vwp overstayer

Ok, so I had my info pass appointment today. The lady was very nice (thank God! I almost expected someone with a ' I don't give a sh**' attitude).

I told her that it's been 2 months since my EAD and AP approval but still no card. The case status changed to 'new card being produced' a few days before today's interview.

She said since it is in production now I should get it soon. I could tell she saw information on her computer and was very careful how to tell me without 'telling' me.

Also, they just received my fingerprints back!...and when I say 'just' I mean 10/24!!! Btw.. I had my biometrics appointment 3 1/2 months ago. I also asked her about my i485, if I can expect an interview soon.. and again she looked as if she knew something but couldn't really tell me. All she said that someone is working on my case and I could receive the gc sooner than later -> key word 'could'.

When I got home I made a few phone calls and decided to check if anything at all changed in my online case status.

Lo and behold there was an update and it was my i485 saying 'card is being produced'. No interview (yaayyy!!)

Looks like today was the day I was supposed to get approved, even if I didn't have the infopass appointment.

When it comes to the text message notification...didn't get one so far.

I'll be checking my status every 15min now I wonder how long it'll take them this time so send out a card It's not over yet...

Yes buzz xxxxxx. .........so happy for you. I've been trying to stay busy but no movement on the 485 since Aug 24th when they received my rfie for using an out of date form..

i came to the usa thru the visa waiver program, it only lasts for 90 days. and we applied aos 4 years and 4 month later.

i tried to post this with my last post to you but it wouldn't let me edit the post.

i have a ssn from a former marriage, our lease to own agreement is in my name, utility bill is in my name, we just bought a lot next door and the deed is in my name( Reason: we don't want to loose them to hubbys ex-wife ), we have a joint account which is never used ( because hubby don't like putting money in the bank ) , all vehicles are registered to my hubby and his company , there are more but all split. the only things we have in both our names is

- Joint bank account

- Tax returns

Hope all that wont be a problem
