I got a message two hours ago that my I-495 was approved. Someone please let me know what does this mean? Does it mean I have to wait for interview now?

Hi, Diddy007! They requested for my husband's updated Employment Letter and 6 months pay stubs (and other proof) since he is eligible to sponsor (with his current income) which we already submitted when we applied. However, his previous tax return does not qualify that's why we got his mother as a joint sponsor. The RFE was in a yellow paper. That was our case tho, yours may or may not be the same. You'll get it soon. We got ours 5 days after we checked online. Good luck!

hey yall,

I am kinda concerned.. i`ve send my response to the RFIE i got . it updated online to response was received on Sep. 29th but i haven't heard anything other than a letter in the mail on Oct. 20th stating " Notice to Applicant " i need to submit form I-693 at a later date..like interview or if interview is waived i will receive an rfe for the form.

since i got that letter does that mean my response was suffice ? does that mean they touched my I-485 ? any ideas ?

its been 33 days since they received my response.

( RFIE was for I-485, i originally send form I-864w hence i am exempt, but they didnt except it, so we send form I-864 with joint sponsor instead of explaining why i am exempt, didn't wanna risk getting denied).

Dec. 5th 2016 - Welcome letter and I-130 Approval letter in the mail , both post stamp Dec. 2nd

you should get your card around Nov. 4th...( i am going by mine and a few others that have been getting the EAD/AP. and i figure you will hear about your interview or approval soon. where is your local service center ?

June 24, 2016 - package delivered to Chicago Lockbox via Priority Express mail, Recieved and signed by R. Mercado ( Day 0)

June 28th, 2016 - Money-orders cashed ( Day 4)

July 4th, 2016 - NOA Received by text (x4 ) and email (x4) at 11:44 PM

case accepted and routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing ( Day 10)

July 7th, 2016 - Hardcopy Received NOA x 4 ( Day 13)

July 15th, 2016 - Received Biometrics letter, Appointment set for July 29th ( Day 21)

July 26th, 2016 - All 4 receipt numbers are working on the uscis mycase now ( Day 32)

My local service center is in Portland, Oregon. They're working on cases from March 2016, so it will probably take a while.

But as long as I get my EAD/AP, I'm happy.. I'm planning a wedding in the Netherlands for which I planned on traveling back home this month, and I have a job offer so I'm freaking out a bit.

I got the pattern of card being produced. Your card has 99% will be mailed tomorrow because they are mailing OCt 17th today. btw, my rfe still stuck on RFE received since Aug 23th so you are good.

5/28/2019 Case reveived

11/14/2019 Biometric

5/18/2020 Case received in local office

6/12/2020 New card is being produced
