Is our local field office the one that process our i485? Is it determined by where you live?

Got my EAD card and AP beginning of last month but i130 and i485 still havent moved a bit since they received the case ><

Was wishing i can have interview in Nov and travel back to my country on Dec,

I can't really find the link but if you put local office uscis on google it should take you there. You put on your zip code and it shows which field office is responsible for your file. It's not always the same office you went to have the biometrics at

Edit: made it work from the phone. https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/find-uscis-office/field-offices

The zip code doesn't apply for field offices search but asc search. With the link you'll click on your state and go from there

got the hardcopys of my EAD/AP in the mail today, along with a letter stating Notice to Applicant.., Form I-693 was not submitted...., submit the form I-693 at a later date as at the interview or if interview is waived you will receive a RFE for the form... well i hope i dont get anymore rfe`s, i am already 55 days behind hence because of my delayed response ( Joint Sponosr )

I'm in Houston TX too. I'm a June filer my case is stuck on fingerprint fee received. There's a backlog in the Houston office, they are processing November 2015

Does anybody know anything about the passport stamp? I heard people say at the interview if approved, they stamp the passport. But what if the interview was waived?

A passport stamp serves as a temporary green card. If you have the green card the stamp is not needed

It has quiet down tremendously on this side..probably because most of you I startet out with have their papers already sorted out.

Well, my case was updated to 'new card is being produced' today (FINALLY - 56 days after my initial EAD approval and 26 days after my 2nd SR). All in all it's still ridiculous and I'm annoyed.

Nevertheless, I really hope that this time I get the card without further delays.

I might not have to go to the info pass appointment on Friday anymore...which btw was a pain in the rear to get.

Anyway, that's my news for today.

Same here. I'm stuck on "new card is produced" since the 14th. I received approval notice by mail only for the AP. I called. They said now it's 60 days instead of 30. Hopefully we get it sooner than later ?

Yes me too.. I received the approval notice for the AP but not for the EAD, status for EAD is still 'new card is being produced'

Wait, what?? I thought I'm pretty much the last one with this bs. I didn't want to get all excited because I thought you never know...this status might get stuck too. Now you're telling me you're stuck since the 14th?

P.S. Apparently it is 60 days now. I just wonder when that changed. As to the competence of the call center agents (and some of the 2 tier officers)...I do wonder about that too sometimes??.......
