At least you got your APPROVE letters. I have nothing...I am very very depress about it.... I searched the 100 cases around me. Guess what? I am the only one have my 765 on case received. all others got their case either approved or mailed.

Have you tried calling them or do a SR online? I got approved almost instantly after my SR, but since then nothing happened. So it's still very frustrating and I understand how you feel.

I don't know what is going on with them at this point...

I did SR online, and they sent me a response that told me the clock of 765 will be set to day one since the received my response. The letter just ask me to wait for another 90 days.

Ugh, this really sucks! Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, I just don't know enough about the 'clock ticking starting over process' so I can't give you any advise to make you feel better. Edited October 7, 2016 by buzzz223

Oh don't you worry. After a second RFIE they started working on my case again TODAY. So supposedly it should be another 90 days, but I put an expedited request before receiving the second RFIE so we'll see if that'll make it go faster. I also contacted my congressman and I received a call that USCIS should respond to me by the end of this month regarding my expedited. So we are in the same boat. Case received since June 21st. ?? fingers crossed for a result ASAP for everyone ??

How do you contact your congressman? I just checked it briefly online but am curious about it. Where do I go to read up on it and get the info I need?

You can go here http://www.house.gov/representatives/find/ , enter your zip code to find who is the congressman in your district. I just called them up and explained why am I seeking their help. The person took my contact information and moments later I received the privacy release form and the email I had to send it to. I filled it out and sent it. I never received anything back until a week later they called me they had an update on my case.

It would only be another 90 days if the RFIE was about the EAD not if it involves the I485.

Just got off the phone (a second time) with USCIS, I was calling them to inquire about the status of the EAD and AP which was filed with the AOS on June 19th.

We filed I484, I765 and I-131 for my wife, and her two daughters.

After I called USCIS 2 weeks ago, my wife has since received the I-797 notice that her EAD and AP have been approved, and we even received the official letters in the mail that the cards will be ordered and mailed.

So I called USCIS back today about the daughters status to find out what's going on.

The lady I spoke to told me that because I received an RFE on one of the daughters I-485 application, that her EAD and AP application have been reset to day 1. That was back on August 19th, so we are only 45 days on her application.

For the other daughter, since there were no RFE's she said we could file to have her EAD and AP looked into to find out what the delay was, then the operator sounded surprised and say's oh wait, no we can't do anything yet because your case is with the national benefits center and they are only just now processing applications from May 3rd 2016. They have a really heavy case load and so they are way backed up.

After she told me that I asked if I can speak to a Supervisor. The supervisor I spoke to confirmed everything the previous operator told me, that the case load at NBC is backed up to May 3rd, but despite that backup he would put in a request to have the EAD and AP looked at and he gave me a confirmation number. He also seemed real surprised that my wives EAD AND AP have been approved after I called to ask about it.

So there you have it. The kids are still pending, according to USCIS one of the girls EAD and AP is over 3 months away from even having her case looked at again since the new file date is August 19th, due to the RFE I received.

Here's an update to this previous post.

I signed up for MYUSPS.COM and my address was eligible to receive shipping alerts. I received a text message notification from USPS of a package being delivered to me, then later that night I received the text message from USCIS that my wives EAD/AP Card has been shipped. If not for that rotten plunderer Columbus we would receive the letter tomorrow (Monday) but since the post office is closed for the holiday we have to wait until Tuesday to receive it. We will go to SSA the same day we get the card in the mail on Tuesday.

Regarding the status of our daughters EAD/AP. After I called USCIS to inquire, and they told me the Benefits center is just now starting to work on the May 3rd files, (We filed in June) that they couldn't do a request for me. (weird) they also told me that because we got an RFE on one of the daughters AOS paper work, that her EAD and AP have been reset to day one on August 19th.

I was able to get to a supervisor who confirmed everything the previous employee told me.

That being said, just a couple days after my phone call I received several text messages from USCIS at 6AM letting me know that the daughters EAD and AP's have been approved.

What is the lesson to be learned here? I really have no idea.

All I can say, is that after I was done talking to both the first operator and she agreed to transfer me to a supervisor I thanked her, told her she as very kind, and I appreciate the help she provided me today.

When I was done talking to the supervisor, before we hung up I gave him the first operators name and told him that she was very polite, professional and helpful and patient with me and that she is doing a good job, I also told the supervisor the same thing, that I appreciate his professionalism and thanked him for assisting me today.

Maybe a sincere thank you (little bit of sugar) is all that they need to press a little magic button that makes your case suddenly get completed. I don't know. Onwards and Upwards.

Looking for a reality check before I go trying to contact USCIS... Received my EAD card already, and since August 9th/2016 my status for AOS is saying "Interview is ready to be scheduled"... but I've yet to receive anything in the mail or see an email about it.

You won't receive anything in the mail until they set a specific date for your interview...and this depends on how busy your local office is.

I guess I was panicking for nothing. USCIS officers told us the backlog could take up to 30 days for our EAD/AP card to be produced. Our congressman also confirmed this. But we got a notification on Friday that our card was being mailed!

Seems I am the only one still waiting for the Combo card and They received my RFE response since Aug 23 and nothing update since then.

Same thing here.. They received my RFE response the 23rd and no update since then I did an SR but didn't receive a response so I called USCIS again and they said that from the 23rd on they start counting again (90 days). So the Tier 2 officer advised to do an expedite request, and this was last friday.
