Has anyone had experience with address change ? I changed mine over the phone and is been a week I've heard nothing. No EAD, no. Confirmation of change of address. My case status Has been changed to returned to post office and follow link to request a new card but the last on the phone at USCIS said she requested a new one for me?!

Yes, I got the approval notice before my status was updated online. So I don't know what's up

i just got a message my case was updated again. just the i-765 for the ead says "card was mailed to me" the ap still says approved, but my notice of approvel says it is a combo card so I am not worried about that!

I don't have a tracking number on my case status, however. it seems that only gets added once your card gets picked up by usps?

myusps does not have any scheduled deliveries as of yet for me either. now we wait.

i have read a bunch of "card was determined as undeliverable" will the fact that we live in an appartment and have a normal mailbox without our name on it be a problem? does it get dropped in the mailbox, or do you have to sign for it? I am so ready for it, we are now finally enjoying planning for our trip back to my homecountry! i left there 11 months qgo and I am sooo stoked to finally see my parents, siblings and nephews and niece back. not to mention my doggy!!

please please put your name on the mailbox. It will help I am sure. You can call USCIS and request a tracking number if u would like to track it. Congrats!!! ???

I just got texts and emails about my I-485 AOS from a K1 has been updated, and "A new card is being produced". Apparently the action was taken on 10th September but I only received the text/email today.

As an aside, I found out that my card was transferred from the NBC to the Field Office in Boise Idaho on 26th August, despite our legal address being in New Hampshire.

This is welcome news and I'll let you know what updates I get whilst things are produced.

Also I was wondering if it is safe to travel with AP? because I was reading that even with Advance parole "admission into the United States is not guaranteed even if the appropriate documents are obtained"

muccapino, I have worried a bit myself about the not guaranteed admission etc. etc. but I think they mainly tell you that so they are off the hook when in very rare cases they don't.

I heard it's wise not to stay too long abroad while on a AP.

I am in my homecountry now, have a bit over 3 weeks; when I come back I'll let everyone here know how it went. It might be helpful to others. I count on being able to be reunited with my love :)

Just in case I brought our marriage certificate, a copy of his passport, and all the NOA's aside from the EAD/AP card.

If you can, why not put your name on the box with a sticker or something unless the mailman or lady knows you. But normally it should be fine.

I called the USCIS a week after I thought I'd changed my address, they said it had NOT been changed. I completed the form, it said there's already one pending. So I re-submitted anyway as I was totally confused. Does anyone at USCIS know what they're talking about?

It's been 7 months since I got to the states and everything that can go wrong is going wrong.

I can't get a driver license because I haven't got the EAD and honestly I'm just getting real peeved about it all. Congrats to everyone getting theirs.. At least I know things are running ok and hopefully it will for me :/

Emmylou151 I changed my address online and the day after I got the confirmation that the address was changed, also got a confirmation letter after one week. Try to speak with a Tier 2 officer, maybe he can be more helpful .

same think for the mailbox, I went to the post office and I spoke to the manager to add my name and the day after my name was added in a sticker inside the mailbox.

I understand your frustration, without EAD and SSN it is like we do not exist....but try to think positive and soon you are going to get your EAD.

Emmylou, go to USPS and sign up to have your mail rerouted to your new house. It lasts a good few months before they stop rerouting mail from your own address. At least that way you'd not miss any important mail while you're waiting for USCIS to catch up.

Got my hard copy interview notice today. Almost half way through another week too ^.^
