it was pointless to freak out and so i had decided to wait until I had my ead to call the tier 2 officer to inquire about my ap. just now i got 2 texts, my ead went from card ordered to approved (this means it is printed and ready to be sent out?) but more importantly, my ap is now approved!!!! wish my husband was off work to celebrate with me, i am extatic i'm guessing I will get my card within a week to 10 days?

Nice, did it just appear on usps.com dashboard or did you get a tracking number on the mycasetracker?

It came as an email which directed me to my usps dashboard no tracking number was given

I have a question i realize that i had made a big mistake on my AOS paper work i did not put my married name now it's gonna come in my maiden name and i did a name change after i got married....... Will i have any problems with that are do i have to send it back and apply for a name change?????????????????? I am so freaking out right now,,,,,,,,has anyone been in this situation before i really need advice

It comes in a priority mail envelope and actually I got the notification from USCIS when the envelope was already been delivered, and in my case status there was the tracking number of USPS

Ok. Out case status doesnt say anything about a tracking Number. It Only says it has been mailed to the address on file

If you sign up with my usps you will get an email as soon as it is picked up or your case will change with your tracking number

Oh ok. I didn't know we had to sign up with USPS. I guess we will wait. Wish we knew to sign up with USPS to ensure it was delivered successfully to the house

Like i said when it is picked up your status may changed..... or just google my usps and make an account it's simple and easy

I do have a USPS account but how did u get the tracking number.? I read online one can call USCIS and request the number. Is that a level 2 rep that we need to speak to in order to get this number?

When was your package mailed

Per USCIS case status says EAD card was mailed 9/7/16. It is prolly going to take a few days to arrive but I wanted to make sure it didn't get lost bc our mail sometimes is brought over to us by the neighbors bc the mailman just puts it in theirs instead of ours.

My package was mailed yesterday morning 9/8/16 but it wasn't until the afternoon my status updated with a tracking number......which was a bit pointless because usps had already sent me a email saying my mail was picked up

Maybe the green card since it is a more important document gets mail with tracking number. I don't know. We have not gotten any other update since the 7th. Oh well we shall see and wait!

I understand because my ead card was shipped out on 9/2/16 but i never received it...i saw that it went to another state that was when i called uscis and the level 2 agent told me that it is stuck at a post office,,,,,, he also said to forget it because my green card was mailed so i understand exactly what you're saying
