since it is almost 24 hours after ead approval and my ap hasn't gotten updated, would a tier 2 officer be able to tell me if I have been approved on my ap and they just haven't updated it? I'm just ready to buy my plane tickets but knowing my lick I would buy my tickets and then get my AP denied next week for some goofy reason. So I don't know if I should call tomorrow, or wait for my EAD to arrive in the mail, and then call a tier 2 if it doesn't have ap on it as well? but then I might not get my AP in time? ahhhhhh

we have until sept 20, 2016 then our 90 days are up we were married last month. But havent filed.

I wanted to file 2 weeks after 90 days would that be a problem

We were married in august our 90 days will be up sept 20,2016.

Can I file the AOS 2 weeks after 90 day is up?

I think you can file anytime you want...do you mean the 90 days you had to get married after moving to the USA. So long as you married in 90 days you are good but you will want to start to file the AOS so you can get residency, ability to leave and re-enter and you work permit. Good luck!!!

Finally I spoke to a tier 2. There's no positive news on my case yet. My i485 is still under review. No additional evidence is needed and it looks 'good' (whatever that's supposed to mean) but who knows how much longer I have to wait.

As to my EAD status...all I can say is 'pffff' the card is not even in production! :crying::crying:

Whatever...I am no longer going to check my status like a maniac, but wait until I receive a message (yeah, right!):rolleyes:

Ugh...that was discouraging :(

Your case sounds so much like ours, no rfe/rfie and it just sits in received status. Ours was approved for Janice 93 days after it was received, so I am thinking yours will be soon and he probably just said it looks good because they didn't want to say they got a few 1000s cases in front of yours to make it sound like it'd be a few more years and instead will get approved in like a week or two :)

I'm in the same boat. It's been 104 days now since they received my AOS/EAD/AP application and my AOS is stuck in Fingerprint Fee Received. No soft touches or anything. I don't know if i should call them or not. I'm getting so frustrated now. I hope i get some updates soon. :crying::crying::crying:

I believe you can always call USCIS..I don't think that will hurt any. Just tell them you want to talk to a level 2 or tier 2 agent to get further details and when they get on the phone ask them. We initially called about the EAD/AP because we haven't gotten even those and he said he doesn't have further information for the EAD it's still within processing times to call back in two days, so Janice asked about the AOS and that's when he put her on hold because he had to update his call records with another question and check on the status and he came back and said it's approved. But I see you've gotten your EAD so they might be doing an interview for you guys, hopefully you get to skip that part like us. But, call, it definitely can't hurt :)

I think you should call them too. You have nothing to lose. Though, don't be discouraged when you hear: your case looks good, we don't need more evidence, your case is under review, it could take somewhere from 3 to 8 months to have a decision.... bla, bla, bla, bla, blaaaaaaaaa ?

Good luck, I hope you get better news!

For those that received their EAD cards, do it come in regular mail just like the notices? How are people tracking where their card is at?
