did your AP update the same night? I have gotten my texts for the EAD about 30 minutes ago, but nothing about the AP yet!

Thank you! I still can`t believe it!

We got text for AP at 4:30 PM and for EAD at 6:30 PM Emails after 9 PM for EAD and for AP at 4:30 am not consistent. The website updated when The texts come thru. Nothing in The AOS yet. Not even RFIE Or RFE... Unsure if all documents submitted were complete and good to me forward to local office for interview

did you also file an SR? And did you file it for EAD or AP? Or both? Have you received your combo card in the mail yet?

Ahh it is crazy, as soon as one question/insecurity gets resolved, 10 others pop up! USCIS turns us all into mad people :D

I got text for the EAD in the morning and for AP late afternoon.

if you applied for both you are going to receive a EAD/AP combo card.

updates in My case status are going crazy....I got my card last Saturday and my status says that they just mailed the card to me.. :wacko:

Our initial package contains both EAD and AP. I filed an SR for the EAD on 8/31 since that's what my husband has been anxiously waiting for. And I got an email 9/1 with update for my AP has been approved the same day I did the SR and that a combo card was going to be mailed.but all the updates and texts came thru yesterday. Well I see it this way, summer is over so many people are back at work lol

That is wonderful news. I'm so happy for ypu and yes this process has turned me into a crazy person too. Although I imagine some people would beg to differ ?

I'm sure your AP will get approved as well. I got the texts at the same time about approval of both but I've read a lot of people had time in between the two.

You'll be able to travel and have your wedding in Belgium, that's GREAT!!!

I booked my trip and am leaving Friday :)

Also, I just got another text telling me my case was updated. I checked the site and my card was mailed to me today. I hope it gets here Friday before I leave :)

But even if the card is not here yet, I'll have it mailed to me.

No SR for us.

However, we received the text messages that AP and EAD were approved on a Saturday. 10 days later the card arrived in the mail. 1 day AFTER we had the card in hand, we received a text message and the website was updated to "Card was mailed to me".

This only applied to the EAD case number. The status for the AP case number never changed from "Approved".

For now I will have to keep waiting patiently, the AP still just says received, we haven't gotten any texts or mails that it has been approved. But it is less nervewracking because the EAD got approved already. maybe today, who knows!

hello everyone today my case (I485) got updated to testing and interview... what does that mean? they set a date for the interview but the case update is weird.. isnt?

I am Under The impression that EAD and AP is a combo card. Per the approval letter it says it as such. So the system might be back up with updates. But overall very happy we are seeing things moving. Now we await for AOS to be updated with anything! At this point an EAD approval and card at hand will do us so much good bc my husband really really really wants to work. We have a K2 yet to do and file and go thru the same journey all over again. Excitement has not stopped for us ?

Hey Odimcharles,

Curious - are you adjusting from K1 or from a tourist visa or other?? Once you do the interview, EAD won't matter because the green card would trump all of that. A scheduled interview means everything is moving along ;) Congratulations!

My wife's interview has been set for October 11. But she hasn't received her EAD yet. Should we be worried??
