Congratulations to you all first and foremost.

Now I have a question that I can not find the answers to anywhere! Once I enter the USA on my K-1 Visa and we get married, do I have to leave before the 90 days is up? I need to know this because once I leave the UK to get married to my fiancé In the USA I plan to stay in the USA permanently once we are married. I do not want to pack up and leave my property, sell and give away everything in the UK if I would have to return back to the UK (that means I would have nothing to come back to if I have to leave the USA after marriage). I want to make sure that I am 100% correct that I can go to the USA get married and stay there permanently providing I file for the adjustments of status and do everything else is required.

You are correct, you do not have to leave just file for AOS. If you have any issues consult this forum, it's a very helpful place

You do not have to leave as long as you get married before the 90 days are up. The point of a K1 visa is to allow you enter the country on a limited visa, then go through the process of obtaining a more permanent status in the US.

We FINALLY got our RFE in the mail yesterday. We spoke to an officer yesterday and apparently our original RFE was never mailed!! She also said that our case worker never electronically updated the system with our RFE, which was why no one could email/fax it to us. She admitted that this was negligence on their part. Thankfully, during our InfoPass appointment last week, the officer directly emailed our case worker and got them to re-mail our RFE that same day.

Thank goodness we got involved before the date they gave us online or we'd still be waiting!
