What happens after biometrics appointment?

Next step is the interview approximately 60 days after biometrics. If you apply for an EAD you would be getting it in about 30 days (after biometrics).

Get ready.

Good evening.

So I recently received the receipt notifications and the emails from the office, telling me that they received the papers and they will start working on them, also getting the case numbers from each one. The funny thing is that, every person that I've asked and that have gone through the process, they started receiving notifications of the status of each process, but I still haven't gotten any. Whenever I check on the website to see how the status of the process is, I get an error of validation. I called the office and they said that it takes up to 45 days to check the status online, since they've just gotten the papers. I am kind of worried since they first sent me back all the papers just because I forgot to sign one of the papers, and now that I received a notification that they were going to process everything, I have been getting these validation errors of each case number. What should I do? All I guess it's left is just to wait, but being uncertain of what's happening has me worried.

Thanks,

Jenky

It's been happening a lot lately. Some people go the entire process without being able to check the case online, some will only see anything after getting a rfe, with some it will work as soon as they received it.

I sent my package on 5/18, even went to my biometrics appointment but the case number still doesn't work online.

As long as you get your letter by mail, it shouldn't be a problem. If you'd like, try calling uscis after the 45 days.

Good luck

Only if you sign up on myuscis on their website and choose to get notifications sent to you.

I sent the G-1145 along with my packet. Just wondering coz I keep on getting validation errors whenever I check my receipt numbers on myUscis case tracker.

The g1145 is only for the receipt notification. Anything other than that should be by signing up for myuscis. Unfortunately it won't work if the case number is not working online ☹️ So you have to keep checking in the meantime.
