She spoke with a lady when we first called who said about the EAD that it was june 01 recieved and that is all she had. The wife then asked to speak with a level 2 officer and the lady said they'll say the same but you are demanding to so i will transfer you..there was not demanding it was more asking lol. She got transferred and we had to do a call back took like 30-45 minutes, he then said the EAD is within processing and we have two days left to ask about the SR for the EAD, so i whispered ask about the AOS, so she did that and he put her on hold came back and asked her some verification questions which he then said it's approved, she said nothing, guy said hello are you there and she said wow thank god and he said yes approved as of sept 02..eeeeee!!

It still gives the same update it does on the website, you need to "demand" ask to speak to a level 2 agent and they apparently can see more! :)

We called To ask why the cases aren't updating online or the phone, the lady said it is bc it updates once the approval letter is sent out which I do not think that's accurate info bc many have received approval letters and nothing has updated. Not sure what's going on in their system. We asked for AOS and she said we are still within processing time she looked up processing time for my local office and she said they are working on cases filed in November for my local office which is exactly what I see online so it could take another 9 months until we hear from them in regards to the AOS ?

No news. I noticed the same thing and always check if you've received any news. It does seem to impacting Dutch people disproportionately. ;)

Once I hear something I'll immediately post it. I'm thinking of calling tomorrow to expedite the EAD.

I just don't think citing severe financial loss would sound good when it comes to the I485.

Although not earning money for the last few months definitely was a severe financial loss.

So I've been postponing asking for the EAD to be expedited...

I'm curious what other people think about this. Does it make sense to talk about severe financial loss?

Or should I just wait it out? On Day 82 now if I subtract for the RFIE, but don't think the job offer will stay valid for another 40 days.

I agree, expedite on the i485 on severe financial loss does not sound good. In my case it's on the AP and concerns belongings in the Netherlands. For which btw I have found a solution so if they want proof I don't have it anymore haha. We'll see....

On the EAD it seems very logical that if you can't work you are losing potential income. I don't know if you can expedite on that but it seems a good reason to me.

Have you thought about a SR? It seems a lot of people here have had good results although some have not heard anything back on it yet. As soon as you are on day 76 again you can do it. You must be there already.

Called to USCIS today and they didn't know much about the EAD...said we needed to wait 2 more days lol :(

However.....

I asked the wife to ask about the i485 and it was approved on 02SEP16!! Finally some good news for her! :) :) :)

Online status was not updated though lol still fingerprint received. :P

That is awesome news, pinbak!! Congratulations!!! What a relief for you guys :)

How long does it take to get the EAD card after approval?

How long does it take to get the EAD card after approval?

It depends where you at and where they're sending it from. Mine is coming today and it was approved on the 27th, i live in Idaho and the card is coming from Missouri so it takes some time because I live far. But the mail man comes at 1:30 our time and its still 11:04!! I cannot wait for it!!! Going to the SS office once i have it!!

Never mind what they said. They told me the same thing - that my case was within the regular processing time and they're currently working on Oktober 2015.

Whatever! If you really want to know what's up ask for a tier 2. I'm pretty sure you'll get the approval sooner than that!

Thanks I will do that if we don't get the approval letter in the mail soon. I am happy to hear the good news from everyone getting notices in the mail and some news over the phone, text, email etc!

So today I wanted to log in to my account and it said I couldn`t because of "too many invalid attempts" or "account inactivity" n`either of which I believe were true.

It asked me to change my password, which I did, and now I get this message

AN ERROR HAS OCCURRED. PLEASE CONTACT TECHNICAL SUPPORT.

How do I contact technical support? I don`t want to call I prefer contacting them over e-mail.

This sucks because I have no idea if my SR has been assigned today ..

This has happened to me too....there is no 'technical support' to call. I called USCIS and they have a different program and screen from us so....What you do is either get the page to reset your password (which didn't work for me) so I created a new email account and tada...it works again so you can see if there are any 'soft touches'....I about threw my phone across the yard...please don't do that :P

the same happened to me , but I was able to change the password and it let me log in.

I could not find the technical support number, probably you should call the national customer service center?

I followed y`alls suggestions and made a new account, here is what it says about my SR

09/06/2016
On September 6, 2016, your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application, referral number SRxxxxxxxxxxMSC, was completed.
09/06/2016
On September 6, 2016, we sent a response to your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application, referral number SRxxxxxxxxxxMSC.
09/06/2016
On September 6, 2016, your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application, referral number SRxxxxxxxxxxMSC, was assigned to an officer for response.
So what does this mean exactly?
And how long will it take for my SR response to arrive in the mail? I only filed yesterday so I am wondering if this fast reply is likely to be good news, or bad news? any ideas?
