Baby on the way... Can we expedite? How?

Hi everyone!

My husband and I are expecting our first beginning of November and after 10 years of relationship this is the important part for us to be together when the baby decides to bless us with his presence.

I am the USC, he is a Brit working in Kazakhstan (I assume that's where his interview will be)

Our I-130 was just delivered and I am all jittery about finding out what can be done to expedite the process in terms of exceptions that might be available out there that we're not aware of.

I must add that my husband has been under immigration proceedings in 2010 where he was banned from entering the US for 5 years at the border where he's always been getting through the VWP but this has since expired a year ago.

We'd appreciate any advice as I'm already preparing all the necessary information for the NVC process

Thank you all in advance

No expedite for pregnancy.

Thanks. Yes, I am aware of that and that's why I was asking for other ways,

Is regular expedition done through the consulate or the NVC? Perhaps when one gets to the interview scheduling something could be done

I'm merely grasping at straws here :-(

There is nothing that can be done to expedite this.

If it was the case... I was going to make a baby right away!

I want to have one and be with my husband, but I´m waiting to get pregnant...

Good luck and I hope you will have a smooth journey!

;)

I´LL START TO LIVE BACK AGAIN WHEN I´LL BE ON MY HUBBY´S ARMS, FOREVER AND EVER. UNTIL THERE, I DON´T LIVE. I SURVIVE. (L)

Glad to hear it is so easy for you to make a baby right away. It took us 10 years.

Hope the visa won't take another 10 years

The reason there is no expedite for pregnancy is because some people cannot have children. Like me.

My heart goes out to you. I just gave birth to our first baby together 14 weeks 2days ago. It has been extremely tough. We used tango & facetime so my husband could attend all of my OB appointments and we used the same method, so my husband could be there during the birth of our daughter. I found that these tools soften the blow a bit, but of course not enough. I ended-up traveling to DR as soon as the baby had her first round of shots we stayed for about a month. I was able to get the doctor to push up the schedule of giving the shots to when she was 6 weeks.

If you need someone to talk to or you just need to vent to someone that has been in your shoes.... I'm here.

Spend your free time on skype! We spent all of ours on skype including night time. We still do the skype at night when my husband is away for work.
